  Friends and I walked in because this is one of the stores with access to the parking lot. We were immediately pestered about the app, which I have already downloaded because I was bombarded about it last time I was there. My friends politely declined and went to use the restroom (which they had said they needed to do as we were walking in, so it wasn’t just an excuse), and the lady at the counter very rudely said, “Wow, so now you have to use the bathroom. Thanks, guys.” Bro I’m sorry but if we aren’t shopping there anyway, why do we need to get the app? So you can hit a quota or win a contest or something? The only reason I was even there the time prior was to get clothes for my grandpa’s funeral. Genuinely no reason to be so sarcastic while bombarding a bunch of visibly alt people who clearly do not shop here to get an app we’re never going to use. I generally empathize with workers just trying to do their job, and if there’s really so much pressure on them that they feel the need to treat people that way just for walking into the store, then I’m scared to see what management looks like. I have no problem with employees politely suggesting the app, but getting genuinely angry at us and treating us poorly when we weren’t even shopping there is crazy. You’re acting like we ran over your dog. If you’re really that desperate, ask your mom or grandma or someone to download it. Holy cow.

  I really hate to leave this review, but feel it’s necessary. The elder lady worker was beyond rude and unpleasant, which quite frankly made this the worst department store experience I’ve ever had in my entire life. With a handful of clothes ready to buy, this turned my wife and I off so much that we purchased nothing and left upset (on her birthday). Couple more points regarding the actual store, but I’ll save you the time: If you’re at the Mall of Georgia, skip Belk and go ANYWHERE else but there. If this employee turns out to be the manager, I wish that location and especially the workers the best of luck!

  No polo ralph lauren section. I get it that its a new line for you all, but please add this section. Ive seen it at other locations.

  My mom and I were in today looking for a new nighttime face cream, Ashely helped us tremendously at the Clinique counter instructing us on exactly how to use the product we were interested in. She was super helpful and has the best personality for customer service. I’d come back to this location simply for her help!
