- SCSolei ClemonsAug 2, 20261.0Charles Rodgers is the most unprofessional person I’ve worked with thus far. He is combative and actually hung up in my face during our conversation and when I tried to call back he answered and hung up again. I now see why they only have 3 stars! They never delivered the stage and dance floor, he stated because he didn’t receive a deposit but there was no clear instructions on how/when to pay the deposit. Most vendors I’ve worked with require payment upon delivery. I received the invoice and that was it, I followed up with an email asking about the dance floor requirements( that I was booking) and he let me know that no adhesives were allowed. At no point did he mention that no ticket was created for this event so finding out the MORNING of that there was no dance floor was extremely upsetting but luckily for Main One Events, we were able to have a dance floor delivered and setup within 1 hour. As a wedding/ event planner, I WILL NEVER HIRE THIS COMPANY.

When I advised him that I received several quotes from other vendors, he asked who were his competitors. I advise him that they were locals. He interjected with, "Party In A Tent?" I replied, "Yes, they're one of the quotes." In turn, he replied with a tone of displeasure, "Well good luck with that!" and disconnected (hung up). Either it's me or I find his customer service etiquette atrocious. Good luck during your search for a deserving vendor Ma'am. And hopefully my post will enlighten this business owner to take action with his employee. I'm new to this area and hope this isn't the norm. If only Google would allow a ZERO.
