I love Steve Madden shoes but this location is trash. The customer service is horrible. Placed an order in store on 6/21/2026 with sales person 695389. After placing the order and taking payment, she advised the shoe had limited availability and if I did not receive a tracking email by Wednesday, it was likely the shoe was out of stock. If she would have informed me of this beforehand, I would have NOT proceeded with the purchase. 5 days later I call customer service and they inform me the order can not be filled and the shoe is not in stock. I needed to call the store for a refund. Called the store and spoke with someone who identified themselves as “Cash”. He was extremely dry. Not very friendly at all. Somewhat snippy! He did process the refund after calling customer service but the interaction was unprofessional. I will not be shopping at this location again. I will gladly take my money elsewhere.

I purchased a pair of shoes directly from the Steve Madden website, and after wearing them for about 8 hours, they became extremely uncomfortable and painful to wear. I contacted Steve Madden customer service and was specifically told that I could return them to a store for a full refund because of the issue.
I then went to the Steve Madden store at Perimeter Mall expecting the situation to be resolved. Unfortunately, the experience was incredibly disappointing. The sales associate had to call what I believe was her manager, and after waiting, I was told they would only allow a “one-time exchange” if I made a same-day purchase. I explained multiple times that customer service had already confirmed I was eligible for a refund, not just an exchange. The response I received was simply, “Only an exchange.”
I did not want another pair of shoes after such a poor experience with the original purchase. I immediately called Steve Madden customer service again while in the store, and they apologized and confirmed that I should have been able to receive a refund without being forced into an exchange.
I am VERY disappointed with how poorly this situation was handled at the Perimeter Mall location. The lack of communication, inconsistency in policy, and dismissive handling of the issue made for an extremely frustrating customer experience. I rated the experience as poor, and unfortunately this interaction has made me hesitant to shop at Steve Madden again.

I’m extremely disappointed with my recent experience at Steve Madden in Perimeter. I purchased a pair of boots 2 months ago and have only worn them a handful of times. Unfortunately, the bottom sole is already coming off — which is unacceptable for the price and brand reputation.
I’ve bought Steve Madden boots before and have never had quality issues, so this was very surprising. What’s even more disappointing is the customer service. When I purchased the boots, the staff was friendly and attentive. However, when I returned with a legitimate concern about the quality, I was met with rudeness and completely ignored.
