This particular store seems limited to women's clothing with a J Crew style which is given as they are part of the same company. The sales rep was kind and let me know that men's clothing selection was found in their Ponce de Leon location which is good to know. My wife had a good time checking out some clothing here and making a nice selection of some shirts and said they had good value and laid back vibe. Christine and Dakota were very kind and gave great customer service. Offered me a chair to sit while I waited for my wife to try some clothes on and make an informed decision. 5 stars and thank you Madewell of Buckhead!

Unfortunately, this hasn’t been an isolated experience at one location—I’ve felt the same way at other Madewell stores, even in different states. I can’t say for certain why this happens, but as a customer, it leaves me feeling unwelcome and singled out. It’s disappointing because shopping should feel comfortable and enjoyable, not stressful or scrutinized.
