  I am extremely disappointed with my experience at this LEGO Perimeter Mall Store, particularly with how poorly this situation was handled. I registered my 2 year old son for the Little Builders Class on July 31 for a class scheduled on September 8 at 10:00 Am. I received a confirmation email stating the class was at 10:00 AM\. I then received a reminder on September 4 confirming the same date and time, followed by yet another email on September 7—less than 24 hours before the event—again confirming that our class was scheduled for September 8 at 10:00 AM. Because of this, I took the morning off work and drove nearly an hour through rush-hour Atlanta traffic so my son could attend an activity he had been looking forward to. We arrived at 10:00 AM as instructed, only to be told by the employees that the class had already taken place at 9:00 AM when the mall opened. There had been absolutely no communication to me that the class time had changed. In fact, every communication I received, including one less than 24 hours beforehand, specifically stated 10:00 AM. What made the experience even more frustrating was how the situation was handled once we arrived. I was essentially told that the scheduling was handled by a third party and that there had been an IT issue. While I understand that technical mistakes can happen, simply blaming a third-party system does not resolve the inconvenience caused to a customer. I asked whether there were any other classes later that day or whether my son could be accommodated at a future class. No alternative, rescheduling option, or meaningful attempt to make the situation right was offered. Instead, my son and I were simply turned away. As a single working mom, taking a morning off work and driving an hour each way is not a small inconvenience. I planned this activity months in advance because I wanted to do something special and exciting with my son. Anyone with a 2 year old also understands the amount of planning, preparation, and coordination that goes into getting a toddler ready and out the door for a scheduled activity. The scheduling error itself was disappointing, but the lack of communication and the way we were treated after arriving made the experience significantly worse. I expected much better customer service from LEGO, especially for an event specifically designed for young children and families\. This experience wasted several hours of my time, caused me to take time away from work unnecessarily, and, most importantly, left a very disappointed little boy who did nothing wrong except show up at the exact time we were repeatedly told to be there. I sincerely hope LEGO reviews how these events are scheduled and communicated, as well as how stores are expected to handle situations like this when an error occurs. Families should not be inconvenienced because of an internal or third-party scheduling problem and then simply turned away without any effort to make things right. I would highly suggest not signing up for an Lego class here because you probably will be given the wrong Information and waste time. Also, this store does not have as big of a Lego selection as the Sugarloaf location. I have never had problems with build events nor finding sets I want for my sons at the Sugarloaf location.

  Awesome Lego store. Had a great selection and many items sold out in others stores were available here. Employees were incredibly helpful. After buying my technic set one of the bags was missing a piece. I called them and they set aside the missing piece for me to pick up. Awesome experience.
