  Just visited Blick Art Materials for the first time and had a great experience! We are getting back into oil painting after years and so much has changed, so we felt a little overwhelmed with all of the options/brands! Vince took time and showed us all the different options and walked us through pros/cons. We appreciate Vince for being so kind and helpful! Definitely check out this art store! They also have the cutest little gifts/crafts!

  If you’re a designed student an art student or an architecture student place great and has everything you can need you can always ask the employees for anything or if you have a supply list or specific project that you’re working on they are super knowledgeable and friendly. they will always give you the best advice and help out with budgets and anything you might need. If you’re a student either from Georgia State, Georgia Tech or even SCAD I recommend using the Marta to get there. You’ll just stop at Midtown and then walk about a block less than like five minutes to get there super easy I used to do it on my way to class or going back home however if you need a lot of stuff and you’re and you wanna drive I recommend parking at Metropolis apartments. It’s right behind the sweet hut it is you can get your parking verified at that sweet hut. They always do it for two hours for me and you just buy anything there. They’ll gladly verify it. I always do this every time I go but do not get confused because there is a parking deck that is also behind the sweetheart where you would have to pay eight dollars per 0-1 hours.

  The store was so much better than the campus bookstore! They had everything on my 1st year student's list plus an extra sketchbook, 3 erasers, and waterproof portfolio for less than $150! The foundations kit alone is $192 at the campus bookstore. They offer a student ID discount too. Every employee was so helpful and nice! I didn't get her name, but salesperson/ cashier 73782 could not have been more helpful. She's a current SCAD student.

  Biggest art store with all sorts of goodies!!! Went to get sneaker paint to make my niece some shoes! Staff super knowledgeable and even helped me pick better options than the self Internet guided. Mats to clay to sneaker paint, spaypaint canvas pens pencils markers and Moore!
