  I am honestly still in shock over the experience I have had with this store over the past two days. I have spent two days simply trying to purchase a pair of sunglasses as a gift. The glasses I ordered are currently being shipped to this location, but unfortunately they are now expected to arrive after the date I needed them. Because I know the exact same glasses are currently in stock at the store, I was hoping someone could simply help me find a solution. Yesterday, I had an extremely disappointing experience with two of your sales associates. When I asked to speak with a manager, I was actually told that the manager would treat me the same way they were treating me. I found that comment incredibly concerning. Rather than trying to resolve the situation or involve someone who could help, I was essentially being told that there was no point in speaking with management because this level of treatment was acceptable throughout the store. After everything that happened yesterday, I called the store this morning specifically to speak with a manager and hopefully resolve the situation. Unfortunately, the employee who answered appeared to be one of the same associates I dealt with yesterday. She was rude from the beginning of the call. I did not argue with her or even attempt to revisit what happened yesterday. I simply asked to speak with a manager. She placed me on hold and then returned to tell me that the manager would not be in until after noon. I politely responded, “And what was your name?” She hung up on me. She literally disconnected the call because I asked for her name. I cannot adequately express how unacceptable I find that behavior, particularly from a Sunglass Hut flagship location. I have been trying for two days to GIVE this store my business. At no point should purchasing a pair of sunglasses become this difficult or leave a customer this upset. What concerns me even more is that this clearly does not feel like one isolated unpleasant interaction. I encountered poor treatment from two employees yesterday, was told that management would treat me the same way, and then, when I called today specifically seeking management assistance, I was treated rudely again and hung up on simply for asking the employee's name. At this point, I still have a paid order being shipped to this location, which means I am unfortunately still dependent upon this store to either receive my purchase or process a refund. Since getting a manager to help me with my situation. I literally have no choice but to shop elsewhere. I will absolutely need assistance in getting a refund for the glasses being shipped. I don't believe that is an unreasonable request. Most importantly, I would like to understand how hanging up on a customer who politely asks an employee for her name is considered acceptable customer service—and why a customer asking for management would be told that the manager would treat her the same way. I simply wanted to buy a pair of glasses as a gift. It should never have become this difficult. Based on multiple reviews I have read, it does not seem that poor customer service is an issue for Sunglass Hut or these issues would have been addressed and fixed by now.

  I’m in shock at the rudeness of the two sales girls. When I asked for a manager, I was told I would get the same treatment from them. Then, Breann said, there wasn’t a manager there. I left and bought my $250 glasses elsewhere. They made it very clear they did not want my business. I called back today to talk to the manager. I apparently got the same rude young lady I had yesterday. She actually hung up on me!

  I visited the Sunglass Hut at Avalon to find a GLASS lens alternative for Sun Glasses. Most sunglasses are made of plastic and my Ray-Bans were past there prime with the lens pitted and no longer clear. Glass Lens are less prone to scratching and should be better for the long run. Upon entry the sales person and I spoke about the alternatives and tried several different glass lens models. We settled on a pair of Maui's. High end Sunglasses aren't cheap however you get a quality lens and great sun protection. I would go back to this Sunglass Hut anytime, the service is great and it is much better to try a variety of models on then try to purchase them over the internet without knowing how they would look and feel.

From the moment I walked in, they were incredibly welcoming, attentive, and knowledgeable. ​They took the time to help me find the perfect pair, answering all my questions with so much patience and care. Their friendly energy and genuine helpfulness made my visit truly delightful. It’s rare to find customer service this attentive and upbeat! ​If you’re looking for new shades, do yourself a favor and ask for Adwaith and Kim—they truly go above and beyond. Thank you both for making my shopping experience so memorable!
