  Man I just went up there and sold 2 pair of brand new shoes that haven't been worn and they gave me $9.64 😑😑😑YALL A SCAM NEVER GOING BACK

  I’ve had a really frustrating experience with the Plato’s Closet location in Albany, Georgia. The other employees I’ve encountered have been very nice, helpful, and welcoming. My issue is with one particular employee, a woman with brown hair, tattoos, and a nose piercing, who I seem to deal with almost every time I bring clothes in. She never greets me when I come into the store, and from what I’ve observed, she doesn’t seem very welcoming toward customers in general. Her attitude comes across as rude, dismissive, and unpleasant. Every time I bring clothes in, she tells me that my items are “outdated” or “not in style,” even when some of the pieces are literally brand new. What makes this especially confusing is that when I deal with the other employees at this same location, I receive completely different feedback about similar clothing. At this point, the repeated difference in how she treats me has made me question whether there could be some kind of racial bias involved. I cannot say for certain that race is the reason, but when the same employee repeatedly dismisses my items while the other employees are friendly and give me different responses, it naturally makes me wonder what the issue is. I want to be clear that this review is not about the entire staff because the other ladies have always been very nice to me. This is specifically about my repeated experiences with this one employee. Management should really pay attention to how customers are being treated. If someone does not enjoy working with the public, customers should not have to feel the effects of that every time they walk through the door.

  Poor service i was told the stuff i have dont sale well here but all the busted wore out stuff there i would never touch the stuff can't even clean on the inside of the shoes

  Went today with teen boys clothing! Was told they wasn't taking anything between 1-2,then went back at 2 was told it would be a while before they could get to my stuff went back to check at 4:30 bag was still in the same spot! And clothes was just like I left them but was told nun of my things was good for them! Really you never even looked at any of my stuff!!! The albany Ga store is such a joke!!! They have to many people saying to many different things and no real leader!!

  The customer service here is absolute trash. No one greeted us entering, no one asked if we needed help, no one was smiling or looking happy at all. Seems like they all hate their job or the customers or both.
