  I went to go make a shoe return today and unfortunately got denied the return. The shoes were gently used, but it was mostly the stickers that I think was the issue which, the shoes literally caused blisters on my feet. I don’t understand how one is supposed to know that they are gonna get blisters on their feet without wearing them? I used each pair only one day regardless, the situation was handled disgustingly. The cashier proceeded to advise me that due to it being used, she would not know if she can make the return and she would ask the manager. She then went to ask the manager, and due to him handling another situation. He looked at the shoes, made a face and shook his head in a very rude manner as if to make a joke of the situation. She came back and said it was not approved, I said OK I will contact customer service because it was within the 30 days so I did not agree. She then looked at the second pair of shoes and laughed and said.” And you wore the other ones too?!” I , again noted “yes, as I I’m unsure how I’m supposed to know if they’re gonna cause blisters without wearing them.” A second older lady also pitched in saying they’re not supposed to be used and I again stated the same statement. I did not argue about it as I used to work in retail so I understand there are rules and policies in place. However, I do believe that there are many situations where as a consumer there should be exceptions when I called customer service on the phone. She was super apologetic and advised that she was able to help out in some form however it’ll still go back to the Store manager. To be completely honest, I don’t even want to work with the store manager at this point to fix it as I did ask for the district managers information, however, it seems that this would be the next step. I am a firm believer. that is something is not able to be used then it should be returned, especially as I said there was no way for me to know it was going to cause blisters on my feet without using them, regardless this situation has made me feel like the only way I can actually shop is online as the customer service rep was super helpful and honestly sympathetic to the situation where I did not receive that same understanding or sympathy in store. I do like to try shoes on in person so honestly a Ross or famous footwear would probably be better than this for shoes. I hope to update as I go along as I’m hoping to not have to keep these shoes 5/18 Although this was not the update I would have wanted I was able to get a refund on a gift card which worked out regardless because I’m going to just buy online. Store manager reached out promptly about the situation, although he did argue with me on the phone, I was just happy to be able to get the gift card and be done with the situation. The cashier this time was nice, Jones R, Best customer service I received at the store.

  Not an ounce of customer service, attention or urgency anywhere in that store this evening. The manager should be fired for how poorly this team works. Multiple employees standing around at checkout moving as slow as possible inching toward closing while they make 2 people stand in line waiting for more than 10 minutes. Absolutely ridiculous.

  Full of brand names at a discount. I'm not into brand names, but saw so many lovely and classy designs. Everything is efficiently and attractively displayed. Still a little pricey for me, but I did splurge on a cute pair of sandals. Staff is very helpful and friendly.

  I had a frustrating experience at Nordstrom Rack. At checkout, they refused to allow me to split payment between a gift card and a credit/debit card. I was told the only option was to use the gift card with cash—not another card—which doesn’t make much sense and felt unnecessarily restrictive. This policy (or lack of flexibility) created an inconvenient situation for what should have been a simple transaction. I’d expect a retailer of this size to support basic split-payment options. Definitely disappointing.
