  Michelle in the JC Penny jewelry department at Wiregrass Mall is the best. She went above and beyond when assisting us with our purchases.

  There were great deals for back to school shopping. The woman at the front counter who checked me out was very helpful and knowledgeable. I had my children with me picking out new clothes/shoes for school and she helped me checking out and informed me of all the discounts available to me for signing up with my phone number, which was very appreciated. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to catch her name and I wish I did. My family had a wonderful day shopping.

  This is a well managed and staffed JCP but what makes it special is guys like Thomas (Drapes and Linens). We were in a long checkout line in another department and Thomas came over to us and offered to help us at his register. He was very professional and personable in helping us checkout...what a pleasure he was! I wish I could give him a 6 star rating but Google only allows a 5 stars so I hope someone from the store gives him another star!

  Edit: Still no email as was discussed or refund in my account despite the lady over the phone telling me it should be 4-5 business days for my refund to come through. I tried calling them but no one answered and the phone call ended before it would go through to anyone. I'm so disappointed in JC Penney right now. I used to shop with this store all the time for my apparel, but clearly they don't practice appropriate consumer service anymore. I will be telling people to actively avoid this chain moving forward. Original Post: When they offer you to order your size online if it isn't in stock for your location, don't fall for it. It will never come in. I ordered some clothes on Fathers day (Sunday) when they had a sale and they told me it would be in by the following Wednesday at the latest. I came in on the day after for Thursday and they said that it still hadn't come in. The cashier and manager said that it would come in by the following day for Friday from there, but when I came in on Saturday, they said it still wasn't in and reported that there was no shortage concern of the clothes. When I asked for a refund then and there, they said they couldn't grant it because they had to wait for the clothes to come in first before they could issue the return and refund. The manager told me that it should be in by Monday or Tuesday of the following week and that they would call me to let me know when it comes in or if it doesn't for some reason. I waited and never got a call from them despite them taking my information. I then called them today (Thursday) and asked for an update. It wasn't until now that they admitted that there was a shortage for the clothes and asked if I wanted to do a return and refund. I agreed for the refund, but they didn't ask for any of my information or payment details, so I doubt they actually issued it. I never splurge on myself for things to treat myself, so I was looking forward to the clothes coming in as something nice. Unfortunately, this retailer had not intention to give me my order and refused to communicate with me when there were "delays" or updates. Thank you for turning my Fathers day gift into a nightmare JC Penny. I will not be shopping from you again.
