  I used to come here as they have a very large selection of trendy clothes. However too many times to count, Plato’s closet markets themselves as being a place you can sell your clothes to, yet each time I’ve tried to sell here, I’ve gotten less than $4. And each time they’ve only picked out 1-2 (if any at all) out of the things I bring (out of 8-15). Their prices have been hiked up ($40 for used jeans?) and they buy very low. Today, I brought in a designer shirt, I bought for $60, hoping I could get something good from it. They offered $1.50. A joke. If you have things of value, don’t sell here, they will give you penny’s. If you want to sell at all, sell at uptown cheapskate. They consistently give you a minimum of $3 more. I tried to give Plato’s closet many chances but honestly they’ve lost my business and my respect. The clothes smell, they don’t check for rips/stains, they’ve lost their quality. And on top of that, couldn’t pick up the phone (or respond to my voicemail about my sell). If you want used/vintage clothing, buy at an actual thrift store who supports the community. Community thrift, Red white and blue, Salvation Army, theres so many good ones that will give you so much value for your dollar. Coming here was a waste of gas.

  Dont waste your time at this location Probably the worst Platos in all Tampa They may offer you 2 bucks for a pairs of mint jordans

  I’ve literally been there like two times already and both times I took like two full bags of clothes and some of them even had the tag on and the first time they only took one item and the one 2 items in total that was like 3 dollars and also the clothes are to expensive to be already used clothes. Plus, my mom was trying on some shorts and they had literally junk on the pockets so disgusting. Never ever going back!!!

  Honestly, if you’re a XL-4XL, you can forget about shopping here. The offered clothes are never in good condition & the smaller sizes are 90% left in that section. Not to mention the INSANE up charge, been going to PC ( Brandon & Dale Mabry ) since 2014 and can’t begin to say how much dissatisfaction I have, honestly.
