  I’ve never taken the time to write a review but the customer service in this store is awful. I ordered a jacket and elected to pick it up at the store. I went in, they let me know they hadn’t fulfilled the order yet so I grabbed one off the floor and tried it on. I ultimately decided to go with a different size than my original order. I was told by Cece the store manager that she would cancel my original order and I would be refunded in 5 to 7 days. When I asked why she couldn’t just exchange what I had already purchased for the other size, she became hostile and said it was too late she already processed the cancellation. When I asked for a receipt showing that the order had been cancelled and a refund would be issued she was nasty, told me I would need to contact customer service, dismissed me, and walked away. Good thing I contacted customer service because she never canceled the original order. I was charged twice for 1 jacket. Cece you need a vacation or another career.

  I went to the store in the mall to buy a suit. The two sales people were lovely and I left with a big smile on my face. I had purchased a nice suit, opened a J Crew credit card and was just waiting to get the sleeves tailored. A week later I called to find out when the suit would be ready. They didn't know and said they would call me back. Another week later and after several more calls, I still had no idea when I would have the suit. They were checking with the tailor and didn't know but they said they would call and let me know. Then a few days ago I randomly called again and they said that it was ready. So I came that evening and the salesperson pulled the garment bag out of the closet and gave it to me. I was about to leave the store when I mentioned that it seemed light -- and questioned whether or not the suit was in it. She opened it and found only the pants. She then went into the closet and pulled out my suit jacket which looks like it was just crumpled up. She put it on a hangar to put in the bag, but it was horrible. Wrinkled and really bad. I asked her "are you really going to give me that jacket like that". She then agreed to steam it. I went to eat and came back a little while later and picked-up the suit. It was a little better but still quite wrinkled. Very surprised and unhappy with my experience at J Crew.
