I had a disappointing experience at this Sunglass Hut. I purchased a pair of sunglasses as a gift for my father, but they were too large for him. When he went to exchange them, he was told there was a small scratch on the lenses and the exchange was refused. The sunglasses had never been used. After I contacted the store and explained the situation, I was eventually told that my father could return and make the exchange after the manager was contacted. I appreciate that the issue was ultimately resolved, but it should not have taken this much effort. More importantly, my father told me that he was treated poorly during his visit. Customer service should be respectful, even when there is a disagreement about a return or exchange. The problem was eventually resolved, but the way the situation was handled left a very negative impression.

I purchased two pairs of sunglasses from Sunglass Hut on Monday. One of the pairs was a gift for my father, but unfortunately, the sunglasses were too large for him, so we went back to the store only two days later to request an exchange. Instead of trying to help us, the employees and the manager were extremely rude and dismissive toward my father. They claimed that the sunglasses were scratched and refused to exchange them, saying that it was against their store policy. The way they spoke to and treated my father was completely unacceptable. The sunglasses had not been used, and we were simply asking for an exchange shortly after the purchase. I was also very disappointed with how another pair of sunglasses was handled. The pair I purchased was a display item, and the employee told me that they did not have any other units available and tried to sell me the display pair. After I went home and checked the inventory myself, I found that the same sunglasses were listed as available both at this store and at the other Sunglass Hut location at Sawgrass. This was extremely frustrating and made me question the accuracy and honesty of the information we were given. Overall, the employees were not helpful, the manager did not make any effort to resolve the situation, and the customer service was extremely poor. A simple exchange request turned into a very unpleasant experience. This was one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Based on this experience, I would not recommend purchasing sunglasses from this location (Store #203).

I had such a great experience with Danna Tovar @ store 1829 in Pembroke Pines, FL! She was friendly, patient and helpful and when we realized that the pair of sunglasses I decided on was at another store, Danna called ahead to the store to reserve them for me so that they wouldn’t sell out before I got there since there was only one left in stock. She made me feel so welcome and appreciated as a customer. Thank you Danna more places need employees like you to represent their businesses! P.S. I love my glasses🥰
