  I am a repeat customer at Bealls, and I wanted to share a disappointing experience I recently had. After finishing my shopping, I went to the register to pay and was informed by an elderly cashier that the store was accepting cash only today. When I asked why, she responded in a manner that made me feel as though I should have already known about the stores computers being down. She simply told me to go get cash. I left the store, went to the bank, withdrew cash, and returned to complete my purchase. When I came back, the cashier handed my items off to a younger employee and did not acknowledge the inconvenience I had experienced. After completing the transaction and handing me my change, she didn’t say a word—not even a simple “thank you.” I understand that technical issues happen and are beyond the staff’s control. However, customer service and courtesy still matter. A little kindness and appreciation would have gone a long way, especially after I had to make an extra trip to the bank to complete my purchase. I know this review may not result in any changes, but I wanted to voice my frustration and disappointment with how this situation was handled. — Francesco Agrusa

  Very good experience at Bealls. The store was clean and organized, and I found good quality items at reasonable prices. The staff was polite and helpful. Overall, a solid place to shop. ⭐⭐⭐⭐

  I was shopping at this location on Sunday and overheard two associates working together to figure out exactly where a Jessica Simpson–branded clothing item belonged. Anyone else might have just tossed it on a clearance rack or placed it with similar items, but not these two. They were having a full conversation about it while continuing to put other merchandise away, clearly determined to find the proper place for that item. I ended up asking for their names just so I could tell them how beautiful and well-organized the store looked. Even the clearance sections were neat and thoughtfully arranged. Their attention to detail really stood out and made my shopping experience even better. I did ask their names, Sue and Barbara!
