  I came into the store on 5/3/2026 with my 3 Autistic children to get a shirt that I saw online and instantly regretted NOT getting it at the military base (the prices are considerably higher). My 10 year old nonverbal daughter screamed “potty” and I knew I had exactly 20 seconds to get her to a restroom. I asked two associates if she could please use the bathroom and was curtly told “no, the restrooms are at the food court”. I said I was buying clothes (I had over $50 of stuff already in my hands) and she wouldn’t make it. She repeated that “the bathroom is at the food court”. We left the store and my daughter DIDN’T make it. She was embarrassed and cried while people watched. We won’t EVER shop there again and it was very easy to see why we were the ONLY people in the store. Try empathy someday…it is a life skill that will get you far in life.

  I don’t really shop at American Eagle, but I received a gift from there and I went to exchange it because it was to big and they said they could not exchange it because I didn’t have the tags or the receipt, Terrible experience, but this is why I don’t and never will shop there. I felt bad for the guy at the front desk because he checked in with his manager, trying to help me out, but his manager was adamant that they would not accept the pants back, even though I could clearly see them on the shelf And knew that they were still very new jeans.
