Inventory is amazing, constantly being updated with new surfboard models especially the high-performance models. If you’re a surfboard geek, look no further and go online and check out how much work they put in on the online store. Most surf shops don’t even perform this service. The Surf Station is top three in the United States for online shopping.

Always easy to shop online when I am not able to get down to St. Augustine to shop in the store. A pleasant experience and my husband loves the shop tees!

Been shopping Surf Station for 20 plus years now - always a great experience. It’s become a tradition to stop in and grab some stickers every time we are in town. Also left with some really great fins and bodyboard this last time! Highly recommend even if you don’t surf it’s an iconic St Augustine beach experience!!

Had a great experience today. After buying a used epoxy board from someone on marketplace, I took it to Surf Station for a professional opinion. The board had several spots where the coating was flaking, that I was hoping it was cosmetic, but wasn’t sure. I normally surf shaped ploy/glass boards.
A staff member, Curren, was there and very helpful. He confirmed it looked like cosmetic issues only. He gave me advice to lookout for any water damage after surfing and blessed my path forward. He was a delightful and honest person. I’m stoked. Thank you Curren.

We have a rental property in the area and have been coming here for years. We’ve always loved the variety of products, and I especially love that the shop is attached to Linen and Waves. We actually have both stores listed on our rental property website and frequently recommend them to guests, friends, and family when they visit.
Last week though, we had an experience that left us uncomfortable. I had made a purchase next door and then continued shopping in your store while carrying that bag with me. I was with my baby, who had started getting fussy, so I took her out of her stroller and set my bag down briefly while I handled her.
An employee came over and said, “I’ll hold your bag at the front.” At first I thought he was just being helpful since I had my hands full, so I thanked him and said I had it covered. He then explained that it was store policy and took my bag from the table.
The interaction felt awkward and uncomfortable to both my husband and me, and we ended up leaving. I understand stores may have policies in place, but this one was completely new to us. I’m not sure if it’s posted somewhere, but we had never seen it or had it mentioned during any previous visits.
If this is in fact the policy, I think there may be a better way to handle it. Being approached that way, especially while trying to manage a fussy baby, felt more unsettling than helpful. I also wasn’t particularly comfortable handing my personal belongings to a store attendant I don’t know.
It’s disappointing because we’ve genuinely enjoyed supporting and recommending your businesses over the years. I wanted to share the feedback because I think the interaction itself—not necessarily the policy—was the issue.
