  So I drove down here specifically to see the bass pro shops..... Near saint augustine.... So when you walked in, the fireplace was beautiful, but I must say, it wasn't as big or as nice as the bridgeport connecticut location that I was used to going to...... I really did not like all the fish that were trapped in that tiny little glass case on the wall. If that just didn't go over well with me..... And I know it's a sport and hunting place, but that alligator that was dead near the case. It seemed to be a wasted alligator.... Somebody just killed it for the size which kind of is gross...... But all in all I have to say that I do like the bass pro shops they've got the old school candy.They've got some interesting clothes for men and women..... It's just too bad.I didn't have an upstairs and more of a like housewares area......

  Drove down only came to use my club card but they couldn’t take it as their tap did not work. Cashier walked me to customer service and girl made it seem like a hassle to manually enter it. Told me to go to club booth to get a scannable print out then come back. If I had that in the first place, I would’ve been gone with my items from the register. Needless to say I left everything at the counter and left. Will be cancelling my account with capital one and won’t shop at bass pro again. Always seems to be a hassle when we come to this store.

  I stopped in today with my son who is very interested in fishing. I am not very helpful with fishing but Joe... Joe was absolutely AMAZING at helping us! He knew just what my son needed, showed him how to set everything and put his line on for him. Joe also showed him how to tie a knot very easily!

  Daniel in archery. I compare it to climbing a mountain to a Tibetan temple to seek knowledge from a master Sensei. He knows everything you want to ask, he set up my bow catered to my size and goals, I left with confidence. Give that guy a raise Bass pro. I came home and shot 40 arrows.

  I'm typically an online shopper. But every time I go in this store, I understand why shopping in person can be a better option. Every associate I have worked with there is just fantastic. Yesterday, we stopped by to buy some hiking boots and Badger helped us find the right shoes for the activities we have planned. I was grateful for his knowledge because the shoes I had planned to buy were not the right choice. Then we headed over to look at travel rods and Andrew helped us find the right rod in our budget and gave us a wealth of knowledge we couldn't get anywhere else. He took the time to teach the right knots and what things were worth it for our trip and which we didn't need. And that is just one example of a trip to Bass Pro that has been a great experience. They have made me a very loyal customer.
