- KAKaris ArmstrongJul 27, 20261.0I was about to buy a blouse i really loved but the lady at the front wouldn’t sell it to me because it was missing a tag. All blouses are the same price basically, i don’t even care about discounts, I would have paid whatever tag price. She said it needed to be reprocessed in the back. Extremely unhappy about that. Usually they will just give it to you based on the price of the items in that section. Maybe a rule follower or maybe just wanted it personally. Not cool.

Better off going to dollar tree & Walmart. They remove what was once great buys from the donations and sell them online at higher prices.

Does Goodwill Industries endorse or allow this? I wonder. I saw two carts full of the new color of the week clothing on a Sunday, and yes I did take a date stamped video. They had a staff member doing this entirely as her job that day. Also, the elderly lady at the register made remarks in front of customers and another staff member about my small child sitting quietly on the floor due to tired feet while waiting as I checked out with over 50 items, a child who was very much under my control. It’s none of her business if he sits down quietly on the floor instead of standing. Some staff are nice. Customer service needs to improve for ALL employees. The 2 older ladies who sometimes cashier are WILD in their control issues. I am a regular, respectful, responsible customer who follows all rules. I do not appreciate this at all and am taking a break from doing business at this GW location. (Sebastian near US-1)

Simply drive through any of our attendent donation center drive-thrus and a team member will assist you with your items.

Do you have a furniture pickup service?
Goodwill Manasota does not offer a furniture or single item pickup service. We do have a White Glove Service, which is a FREE packing service for an entire home. If you are downsizing, buying/selling a home, or find yourself in another transitional stage of life, Goodwill can help lessen your burden. We will come to your home or business, pack up your entire household of resellable items that you would like to donate, and transport them to our Goodwill donation centers and retail outlets. There is never a charge for the White Glove Service and we provide an itemized receipt for tax purposes.
Do you have Color of the Week sales?
Goodwill Manasota does offer Color of the Week tag sales. Get 50% off the selected color tag at participating locations. Not valid at our Bookstores or Bargain Barns. Look for signage in our stores or ask an associate for more details, or like us on Facebook to get weekly reminders. Colors change weekly, so get the great deals while they last!
