  Traveling through Sarasota for business trip and stopped at the cash for gold store in Sarasota and was greeted by Michael and Glenn who were very knowledgeable on the gold bars that I wanted to sell! I came in with three gold bars and was given a higher price at this location versus any other location. They gave me a great deal on the bars they bought from me! If your looking to sell or buy I would definitely stop at this location Sarasota Florida ( Cash for Gold store! ) If your smart, take your business to Michael and Glenn who will go beyond expectations to give you the best price in Florida!   My boyfriend and I stopped in on a whim just to check it out. I was looking for vintage art deco jewelry and was absolutely astonished at the selection! Owner, Michael, was super cool. Great atmosphere - wasn't what I expected - I thought it was a pawn shop, but it's not. Bought two very unique vintage rings and I love them!

  I had an excellent experience with Michael at The Gold Store – Coin & Jewelry. I brought in a fairly large collection of gold, coins, and other items that had been accumulated over many years, and I honestly wasn’t sure what everything was worth. Michael took his time going through everything with me, explaining what I had, how the values were determined, and what he was paying for each item. There was absolutely no pressure, and the entire process was professional and transparent. What impressed me most was the amount of knowledge Michael has about precious metals and coins. You can tell immediately that this isn’t someone simply putting items on a scale and throwing out a number. He knows the market, understands collectible coins, and makes sure you understand exactly what you’re selling. I ended up receiving considerably more than I expected for the collection, and the transaction was handled quickly and professionally. I left feeling confident that I had been treated fairly and respectfully. If you have gold, silver, old coins, jewelry, or an inherited collection and don’t know where to start, I would absolutely recommend speaking with Michael at The Gold Store. It’s refreshing to deal directly with a knowledgeable owner who takes the time to do things the right way. Five stars without hesitation.

  To be fair, I didn't like Tim from the moment we walked in the door. His energy reads "I don't want to be here and I don't want you here either." I was told that for a 10k gold diamond ring that I would get a fair price and could have the diamonds back. Instead Tim offered $123 and said diamonds aren't worth anything. I disagree and wish we could have had a better interaction. He offered $130 to wipe his hands clean of me as the energy in there got awkward. I left.... They don't want my business and that was clear. Happy to never go back. Thank you for offering a cold beverage when we arrived though. Appreciate the hospitality until you actually have to speak with Tim.
