  I’ve now been to Cash For Gold in Sarasota a few times, and every experience has been lovely. The first time I stopped in was just to shop around and they were very friendly and welcoming; no high-pressure vibes, which I really appreciated. On my most recent visit I brought in some old jewelry and coins to sell, and the whole process was very transparent and easy. They weighed everything right in front of me and even showed me the average national prices so I could understand everything. That honesty really stands out in today's world. Tim is especially helpful! He takes the time to talk with me, get to know me, answer my questions - he even played me a song on his guitar once (and he's really good it was awesome). Also, the store itself is quite nice inside - they keep it super clean and organized. Overall, the customer service has been excellent every time I’ve gone in. These guys are the real deal and I would definitely recommend them for any jewelry or precious metals.

  I had a 14 karat gold bracelet to sell. They were my first stop. I went in and they said it weighed 17.9 g. He offered me $1200 and I told him I was in the jewelry business and that seemed awfully low. He immediately came back with $1800 and I told them I would be back after I shopped it. So I went to Buccaneer pawn shop and they weighed it at 30.6g. Neither location had a scale that displayed the weight to the customers. They paid $2300. I think the scale needs calibrating.
