  I came to Plato’s Closet in Wellington with high expectations, and honestly, I left in complete disbelief. I brought THREE full bags of clothes plus an entire bin, including brands like Zara, Urban Outfitters, Free People, SHEIN… Most of my clothes were in excellent condition, and I also brought shoes. I arrived around 5 PM, and by 5:15 PM, they were already done going through everything. I was in the store the entire time, and from what I saw, the employee barely looked through my items. And out of EVERYTHING I brought, do you know what they decided to buy? ONE old SHEIN sweater, probably the oldest and least valuable item in my entire pile. And they offered me $2 for it. I genuinely couldn’t believe it. With all the quality clothing and recognizable brands I brought in, THAT was their choice? I actually laughed because the whole situation was so ridiculous. I apologize for laughing in front of the employees, but I was honestly shocked. I understand that stores have their own buying criteria, but this experience made absolutely no sense to me. Such a waste of time and incredibly disappointing. I definitely won’t be bringing my clothes here again.

  Drove over an hour to sell here, and they refused to even look at my stuff. Said they were "full". Absolute waste of time, gas, and energy

  Took some Vineyards Vines and Polo and Lululemon to sell there today. Did not expect to get much, but walked out with $247. Not bad. Better than giving it for free to Goodwill. The girls working were super nice. Definitely will be selling my clothes here from now on. I do have to say, they passed on items that had collar stains and snags. Which I understand.

  Zero stars if I could. I brought in a 34-gallon bin AND a full trash bag packed with Levi’s, Urban Outfitters, Aritzia, and other newer, name-brand pieces, all in great condition. They took ONE top and paid me $1.80. 😭 Let’s also talk about the selection in the store—it’s honestly one of the most outdated selections I’ve seen, yet somehow they refuse to buy newer brands and current styles. Make it make sense. I left carrying my huge bin and trash bag back to my car, literally sweating from hauling everything around, all for them to take one top. What a waste of time and effort. I definitely would NOT recommend selling here. And honestly, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here either. If you’re looking for cute, current clothes, save yourself the trip. It’s crazy that they won’t buy newer, trendy pieces but their own racks are filled with outdated stuff. Go to the palm beach gardens location is 100 times better
