Plato's Closet buys and sells gently used clothing, shoes, sneakers, accessories and athletic wear for teens and young adults in Royal Palm Beach. Sell styles you no longer wear for cash on the spot, or shop thrifted, secondhand, and resale fashion, including trendy, brand-name styles for less. With 500+ independently owned and operated locations across the U.S. and Canada, fresh inventory arriving daily, Plato's Closet makes thrifting easy, affordable, and more sustainable.
Took some Vineyards Vines and Polo and Lululemon to sell there today. Did not expect to get much, but walked out with $247. Not bad. Better than giving it for free to Goodwill. The girls working were super nice. Definitely will be selling my clothes here from now on. I do have to say, they passed on items that had collar stains and snags. Which I understand.

Zero stars if I could.
I brought in a 34-gallon bin AND a full trash bag packed with Levi’s, Urban Outfitters, Aritzia, and other newer, name-brand pieces, all in great condition. They took ONE top and paid me $1.80. 😭
Let’s also talk about the selection in the store—it’s honestly one of the most outdated selections I’ve seen, yet somehow they refuse to buy newer brands and current styles. Make it make sense.
I left carrying my huge bin and trash bag back to my car, literally sweating from hauling everything around, all for them to take one top. What a waste of time and effort.
I definitely would NOT recommend selling here. And honestly, I wouldn’t recommend shopping here either. If you’re looking for cute, current clothes, save yourself the trip. It’s crazy that they won’t buy newer, trendy pieces but their own racks are filled with outdated stuff. Go to the palm beach gardens location is 100 times better

I’ve shopped at this location for years and it’s so sad to see the decline in both customer service & clothing quality. I’m seeing more SHEIN, and other fast fashion plastic on the racks more than I’m seeing real clothes. Furthermore, because of the decline, I’m seeing the same 60+ pieces for months. The inventory isn’t cycling because of the BUYERS. You need to train your staff on trends, quality and standards on all fronts, not just for buying but also customer service wise. I should not have to dodge the same employee 3x in the same isle with an arm full of items.

This will be my last time selling with this location. They are so stingy. They sell crappy clothes that look very old and dingy from shein but wont take zara and mango with tags? Comical. Took 10 items for $33. You’re better off selling at the palm beach gardens location. I have made the most money with platos in gardens and would rather make the drive out there than waste my time here
