- EFEmily Frazier2 days ago1.0This is the wildest experience I’ve ever had in a store. The amount of SHARKS in there is insane!! My experience was FAR from pleasant. I couldn’t even enjoy a spontaneous shopping day with my fiancé without being hounded by employees trying to sell us the credit card, a getaway, and whatever else. Every 2 minutes, someone walked up trying to sell us some shit. That’s insane. We were as nice as possible, saying “no thank you” a million times, but they were SO persistent. I was sooo close to going off on the next person. While we were still walking around, my fiancé actually said to me, “Okay, we gotta get out of here because this is too much.” A man wanted to get out of Bass Pro Shops without browsing the whole store?! Since when?! 😂 If this is the norm and how Bass Pro Shops on Gatlin runs their business, I won’t be back. If I go in there next time and I’m asked about a credit card by more than one person, I won’t be back. The only time I should be asked about a credit card is at the register. And employees need to take the FIRST “no” as an answer. If I’m browsing the aisles, you can ask if I need help or simply greet me. Not repeatedly try to sell me something. DO BETTER. Hopefully your next store meeting is actually productive and this gets addressed, because this was ridiculous.

Benjamin explained to me about what I should do when I'm setting up my fishing hook with the leader line, only my fifth time fishing. We come down from New Jersey. All the time, and every time in bass pro shop, the whole staff is completely helpful.
