I visited this Lululemon to make an exchange, and while I was there, I urgently needed to use the restroom. I was surprised to find that customers aren’t allowed to use the restroom at all, even though employees have one. One employee handled the situation with very little empathy, cold and dismissive, which made an already uncomfortable moment worse. Because I couldn’t use a restroom, I wasn’t able to continue shopping normally; I grabbed a few items without trying them on because I physically couldn’t stay any longer, and ended up having to leave and go home. I wasn’t comfortable going into another business just to solve a problem created by Lululemon’s policy. In fairness, the manager and another employee were much kinder and explained that this was company policy. However, the solution they offered was to send me to The Cheesecake Factory or another nearby business, which I found completely unreasonable. In my opinion, businesses should take responsibility for their own customers rather than relying on neighboring businesses to accommodate them. A blanket policy across all locations doesn’t make sense. If a store is in an area without a public restroom nearby, managers should have the discretion to make reasonable exceptions for genuine customers with urgent needs. This is not the level of customer care I expect from a premium brand like Lululemon. Customer experience isn’t just about selling high-quality products—it’s also about treating people with empathy, respect, and common sense. I hope the company reconsiders this policy and empowers its
