  Visited this store today while on my family vacation. I was waiting at the register to be rung out (nobody else was waiting and the store was not busy), and the worker — Ann T was her name, I’m assuming, as that’s the name on my receipt — quite literally scoffed at my fiancé and me when we said yes to her asking if we were ready to check out. She came around to the register, said zero words, rang up my two items, and said the total while obnoxiously chomping gum. I said thank you and scanned my Apple Cash, which had a $130 balance (this was a $34 transaction). I watched the screen load for a second and show a check mark that the transaction was completed. At this point, there were 5–6 people behind me, and she loudly goes, “Um, yeah, that’s declined actually.” So I took a few seconds to check my transactions, as it showed it was pending. My fiancé asked how that works with Apple Pay and if we should try again, as she was awkwardly standing there not being kind or offering any solutions. She picked up the receipt, held her hand up at us, and said, “I really don’t know what to tell you, but it’s declined, so…” It costs zero money to be kind, and as someone who worked for 5 years checking people out for a living, cards decline all the time. Usually it’s a quick retry, and any decent human is always discreet about it because you never know someone’s situation. I used my actual card and went on with my day, as I know the transaction will likely drop off, but it wouldn’t have hurt to explain that on her end. Despite wanting to tell Ann that her attitude was absolutely rancid and she needs to spit out her gum or not chew like that…

  Nice clean store with good amounts of merchandise. Staff was friendly. Plenty of room and did not look or feel cluttered with too many things in tight spaces. Parking is horrendous 😫. Had to keep circling and wait for parking even on a Sunday night 1 hour before closing.

  For yrs i always wanted to go to Ron Jon surf shop and i did!!! I never wanted to leave the staff was Fantastic!!!

  Super clean store. They had a wide variety of items. The staff was outstanding. Super helpful and knowledgeable. The store was also very organized and for being in the heart of tourists, this was really nice to see. The place smelled great and was a in a good location. Parking can get busy but the store itself is fairly large. Thank you!
