She said they lock up at seven. Please fix it.as I have to then go home and unload because I need the car the next day for work
- JSJuan SandovalMay 30, 20261.0Incredible overpriced. These are donations that they try to sell like new. My wife found a used dress with the price tag of $99. They have shoes going for $60 to $ 90. It's a goodwill store not the mall. I blame this location because I go to others goodwill location and the prices are low and reasonable. Also this location have the good shoes lock in glass case ridiculous. We asked an employee why the price was so high on most of their items and the employee told us that when they received the donations they research the items in the back and price them based on their finding online. Again this are donations and they should have a rate for shoes,dress, pants etc. The price shouldn't been base of what they cost online. My opinion
- AHAli HazelliefApr 24, 20261.0Not in “good will” at all. They are not out to help people. Prices are the highest I’ve ever seen at any Goodwill. Was trying to help a veteran with no leg to get into apartment. I needed to purchase a small silverware set. The manager told me I had to buy a massive bag of silverware(100+ pieces) for $20. She wouldn’t break up the bag of silverware and sell me a smaller quantity (4 forks, 4 spoons). Then she came back to me in the store and said she would sell me the massive bag of silverware for $10. Like oh you reduced the price by 50% and you can’t just sell me 8 pieces. They are just out to make money, not actually help people. They get everything in that store for free then jack up the prices. Go to the Salvation Army. It’s much better. Don’t waste your time in this store with the heartless employees.

Gently used clothing and household goods may be dropped off at any of our store and/or attended donation centers. We ask that large furniture be dropped off at one of our retail locations. Simply drive through any of our attendent donation center drive-thrus and a team member will assist you with your items.

Do you have a furniture pickup service?
Goodwill Manasota does not offer a furniture or single item pickup service. We do have a White Glove Service, which is a FREE packing service for an entire home. If you are downsizing, buying/selling a home, or find yourself in another transitional stage of life, Goodwill can help lessen your burden. We will come to your home or business, pack up your entire household of resellable items that you would like to donate, and transport them to our Goodwill donation centers and retail outlets. There is never a charge for the White Glove Service and we provide an itemized receipt for tax purposes.
Do you have Color of the Week sales?
Goodwill Manasota does offer Color of the Week tag sales. Get 50% off the selected color tag at participating locations. Not valid at our Bookstores or Bargain Barns. Look for signage in our stores or ask an associate for more details, or like us on Facebook to get weekly reminders. Colors change weekly, so get the great deals while they last!
