  As always with bass pro shops they have so much awesome stuff you have to watch out , you'll leave with way more than what you came for

  I usually really like the store but after spending about a thousand dollars on a handgun today I feel like the guy Tim, working back in there, was a bit rude and not even somewhat appreciative. The lady working the cash register up front was also not especially friendly when I stopped on the way out to make a lesser purchase on some beef jerky. Other than what I just mentioned, I like the store and will continue to be a regular customer.

  Personally love the brand and will continue to shop there but my problem isn't with the retail side . Ok so new ranger rt198p with a 150 mercury purchased on may9th from polaris of Gainesville . Took my new boat out on May 17th for the break in period . Everything was OK for the most part , water coming in the boat and my 3 bank charger showing default on battery 2 according to the LEDs . Things were ok until motor did a Emergency shut down and we had to try and get back to the ramp . Took boat to bass pro on may 21st reported all 3 issues even had video of water and batteries . I recieved a call from service the following week and was told my motor had in fact blew up (WoW) . long story short new motor was shipped with a RA number through Mercury marine and installed which I found out once I called on Wednesday the the 10th of JUNE and boat is ready for pick up. All good except I found out they won't release it because I have to call my bank and change the serial numbers on the loan and this doesn't happen quickly even though my bank sent an email explaining to them they had the numbers and were working on it . I also found out it is not the concern of basspro about my bank . On Friday the 12th called after getting an email saying they had sent the form to basspro from my bank and even asked then to please release my boat . NOPE they said now they have to ship my blown motor back after mercury sends them another RA number for pick up and once mercury gets it back and I guess pays them then I can have my personal property back that I have paid 2 payment for already. I dished out $5500 on day one . Best yet big guy a mercury even called on my behalf and explained they would get paid but bass pro says nope he waits . We'll he were are its now the the 18th of june aNd found out today my motor still hasn't shipped back which will take at least couple weeks from that point . Sorry but really feel like I have to warn others that thier personal property is still not safe even though the customer was completely in the right . This boat is over 40,000 dollars and thought I was going to enjoy it but here we go .
