  Very disappointing experience my husband and I had recently in the outdoor/kayak department at your store. We were seriously considering purchasing an Old Town Sportsman PDL 120 kayak, along with several other items we already had in our cart. Unfortunately, the experience we had with the female employee working in that department completely changed our minds about making the purchase. The kayak had two different prices displayed on it. One sticker showed approximately $2,899 while another showed a “sale” price of around $2,999, which obviously made no sense. When we asked the employee to clarify the pricing, she scanned the higher price and simply stated that was the price. When I pointed out the lower sticker and explained that the pricing seemed incorrect, she removed the $2,899 sticker right in front of us without any explanation or attempt to resolve the confusion. We then asked about the rudder on the back of the display kayak, which appeared broken off, and whether this was the actual kayak being sold or if a new one would be shipped from a warehouse. She repeatedly responded that she “didn’t know.” My husband then politely asked whether there might be any discount offered since it appeared to be a damaged display model. At that point, she visibly rolled her eyes, seemed irritated by the question, and dismissively told us we would need to speak to a manager because she “doesn’t handle that.” The most frustrating part was that she appeared to know absolutely nothing about the department she was working in, and her attitude made it clear she did not want to help us. We ultimately had to ask another employee to help us locate the person who actually manages that area. By the end of the interaction, we were so put off by the lack of professionalism, product knowledge, and basic customer service that we left without purchasing the kayak or the other items we intended to buy. This was genuinely one of the worst retail experiences we’ve had in quite some time, especially considering the amount of money we were prepared to spend. I felt it was important to bring this to your attention.

  I recently lost my favorite hat and visited the Palm Beach, Florida location hoping to replace it with the exact same one. From the moment I walked in, Debbie and Nikole went above and beyond to help me track it down. Their genuine kindness, patience, and positive attitudes were such a refreshing change from the level of customer service you usually encounter these days. What could have been a simple, ordinary shopping trip turned into an incredibly pleasant experience because of the care they showed. They truly made me feel valued as a customer, and I’m so grateful for their help. I’ve never taken the time to write a review before, but Debbie and Nikole absolutely deserved the recognition.

  I was surprised at the great selection of work pants available. I tend to get lost in the sporting goods so many things I didn’t know I needed. A great place to buy gifts also

  I did forget the older gentleman's name, Jimmy, Bobby? He was very helpful and patient and even went into the back to help me find my specific combo, did my braided line, gave me advice, and I had a blast solo fishing, much needed sometimes. Pos machine even gave us trouble but he was also again, patient and helpful the whole time, amazing helper, thanks again.

  Thank you Tim at the location in Palm Bay, Fl for help at the gun counter but I caught your smart comment about missing the tax time window after opting not to purchase the Kimbey 45 Mm for $1200 and decided to look at something with a lower price point. YOU LOST A SALE. Word of Advice: Never make assumptions.
