I wish I could give 0 stars.
Brought about 3 big bags full of clothes and sneakers (they were mainly in great condition; some had tags on). I was the first to be there right at 10 AM. I checked in like usual, then the lady tells me “give us about 45 minutes, and we’ll send you a text when ready”. While I was waiting, I decided to go to the stores that were around. 1 hour and 20 minutes go by, never got a text nor call, and I was already getting bored. I decided to go to the store just to get an update, then the cashier (with an attitude) grabs all my 3 bags, and says “so unfortunately, we did not take any of your clothes due to high inventory”. I was like… seriously? Why did y'all accept all my bags in the first place? This whole time I was waiting there for nothing? Please save yourself time and just go to the Plato's located by The Loop. Never coming here again!

Do not recommend going here, dropped some clothes off to this facility. I had no issue with the clothes that I was offered. I am upset that some of my clothes that I was not offered on were in different areas not in my box. If I was not paying attention many of my clothes would have still been there. Please pay attention to what you bring here and make sure you get all of your items back that you are not offered on.

I had a very disappointing experience at Plato’s Closet. The customer service was unprofessional, and the employee who assisted me came across as rude and dismissive. Instead of making me feel like a valued customer, I felt like I was an inconvenience. A little kindness and professionalism go a long way, and unfortunately, that wasn’t my experience. I hope management addresses this so future customers are treated with more respect.
