  Extremely Disappointing First Experience What an incredibly disappointing experience purchasing my first firearm at Bass Pro Shops. Honestly, if this is how they treat first-time customers, I would think twice before purchasing a firearm from this store. Before making the trip, I called the Orlando location and specifically asked whether having my concealed carry license would allow me to complete the purchase and leave with my firearm that same day. I was told yes, no problem. Based on that information, I drove an hour out of my way to the store. When I arrived, I was then told that I could NOT leave with the firearm because the state-level firearm background check portal/store’s background check system closes at 9:00 PM. This was extremely frustrating because I had already taken the time to call ahead and specifically ask about this. Rather than walk away from the purchase, I decided to have the firearm shipped to my local Bass Pro Shops. I asked the salesperson when it would arrive, and I was told Saturday, Sunday at the latest, or Monday. I had a trip planned and was leaving Monday, so this information was important to me. Then I checked the FedEx tracking information and saw that the delivery was scheduled for Tuesday. I contacted FedEx, and they told me the shipper scheduled the delivery for Tuesday. At this point, I am beyond disappointed. This entire situation could have been avoided with simple, accurate communication. I called ahead, asked specific questions, drove an hour out of my way, and still ended up with incorrect information and a delivery date that did not match what I was told. For something as important as purchasing a firearm, customers should be able to expect clear communication, accurate information, and competent customer service. Unfortunately, that was not my experience at the Orlando Bass Pro Shops. This was my first firearm purchase, and instead of being a positive experience, it has been incredibly frustrating and disappointing. Based on my experience, I would not recommend purchasing a firearm from this location. If you are considering buying one here, I strongly recommend confirming every detail yourself before making the trip because what you are told over the phone may not be what happens when you arrive. I will not be shopping at the Orlando location again. Stay tuned for Part 2: the debacle of picking up my firearm at the Dania location. 🙃

  I came into the location off oakridge and international drive (Orlando Fl). I got ignored for over 30 minutes by staff in the gun/hunting department. It only takes a sec to say hello someone will be with you. Once I brought light to the situation all I heard were excuses still no assistance. Since it was left up to me to decide what the issue was, I call it a form of racism!!! Times are too crazy and racism is alive and well!!! Do better bass sports!!! Smh!!!

  I ordered quite a few microfiber beach towels that came in their own individual zip up carry bags for take home gifts for an event. One of the bags came with a broken zipper and I had already put a person's name on the bag before I realized it. I emailed customer support to see if I could return, even though had name on it and the very nice customer service rep solved my issue by sending me a new one at no charge. I have always been happy with Bass pro's quality of products til this issue but now am happy to shop with them because of the kind & caring support I received!

  I would like to thank Ryan and Arturo for the outstanding service I received at Bass Pro Shops. I purchased my BlackOut Epic NT compound bow online, and in June, Ryan helped me with the initial setup and adjustment of the bow. He was friendly, patient, and took the time to explain everything, making sure it was properly fitted and adjusted for me. The following month, Arturo checked the bow again to make sure everything was properly adjusted and working as it should. He was also very professional, attentive, and willing to help. Thank you both for your knowledge, professionalism, and excellent customer service.   As a visitor from the UK, I was genuinely blown away by Bass Pro Shops. We simply don’t have anything on this scale back home. It’s far more than just a shop, it’s an experience in itself. The selection of camping, hiking, fishing, hunting and outdoor equipment is outstanding, with products and brands I’d never seen before. I could easily have spent over $500 if I’d had more room in my suitcase. There was so much I wanted to buy, from camping gear and clothing to tools and outdoor accessories. The store is well laid out, the displays are impressive, and there’s something interesting to see around every corner. Even if you’re not planning to buy anything, it’s well worth a visit just to look around. If you enjoy the outdoors or outdoor gear, this is an absolute must-visit while you’re in Orlando. I’ll definitely be coming back the next time I’m in Florida.
