  I visited the store in June and the AC was broken. They had temporary fans and I felt very bad for the employees. I went there today. August and the AC is still not fixed. I don’t know how people work here. I walked in the door stayed about five minutes and left because I was already sweating. I feel really bad for your employees. There is no AC in this building.

  What is happening to this store? The AC has been out for a long time so random parts of the store are super hot. They rearranged and it just looks like a disaster in there now. No rhyme or reason for anything. An abundance of clothes smushed together on racks so it’s hard to navigate what you’re even looking at. Quality is skeptical. This store has really taken a turn for the worse.

  I’ve tried shopping at this Bealls location this summer, and the lack of working air conditioning has become completely unacceptable. The store has been extremely hot and uncomfortable every time I’ve visited. They’ve had portable air-conditioning units throughout the store, but they clearly aren’t enough to make the environment comfortable. I’ve been told multiple times that the air conditioning is “getting fixed,” but it has been all summer and there still doesn’t seem to be any resolution. At this point, it’s difficult to understand how a store can expect employees and customers to spend time inside when it is so hot with minimal areas of airflow and cool air. I really like shopping at Bealls, but the conditions in the store are unacceptable. If the problem has been ongoing this long, customers deserve some transparency about what is actually being done to fix it—and, more importantly, a store that is reasonably comfortable and safe to shop in.

  Hit the right sales and you can find a great bargain.
