  Extremely Disappointing Experience with Sunglass Hut – Poor Customer Service and Misleading Warranty Information I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Sunglass Hut. I purchased a pair of Ray-Ban glasses for approximately $500 and also paid for a protection plan because I expected my investment to be protected if something went wrong. Unfortunately, less than three months later, all the screws came out of my glasses, leaving them damaged and unusable. When I originally purchased the glasses, the sales associate assured me that the protection plan would cover issues like this and that I would be able to get a replacement pair at no additional cost if something happened to them. Based on those assurances, I felt confident purchasing both the glasses and the protection plan. However, when I returned to the store seeking warranty assistance, I was met with a completely different explanation. Suddenly, the replacement was no longer free, and I was told I would have to pay for individual screws or purchase an entirely new pair of glasses. As if that were not frustrating enough, I was then told that if I was unhappy with those options, I should go through Ray-Ban instead. This is absolutely unacceptable. I spent $500 on a pair of glasses that failed within three months, paid extra for protection, and was then left feeling misled by the very people who sold me the product and the plan. A protection plan should provide clarity and peace of mind, not leave customers questioning what they actually paid for. What bothers me most is not just that the glasses broke so quickly, but the lack of accountability and the contradictory information I received from the sales associate versus the staff handling my warranty request. Customers should not have to argue to receive the protection they were told they were purchasing. For a company like Sunglass Hut, I expected much better product quality, transparency, and customer service. Instead, this experience has left me frustrated, disappointed, and questioning whether purchasing from this retailer is worth it. I would strongly encourage anyone considering an expensive purchase from Sunglass Hut to get every detail of the protection plan in writing before buying. Do not rely solely on verbal promises from a sales associate. Based on my experience, the assurances made at the time of purchase did not match the treatment I received when I actually needed assistance. I hope Sunglass Hut takes responsibility for this situation and improves the way it communicates warranty coverage to its customers. Until then, I would have a difficult time recommending this store to anyone.

  Davina was so helpful when I came in looking to purchase new lenses for a pair of Costas. She answered all my questions and gave me options. I ended up purchasing the upgraded pair of the original glasses and I will be in to purchase the replacement lenses as well next time. She was super informative about the donation option that is given as well as the protection plan. Great customer service and will be back and hope to be assisted by her again. Hope her hard work and service is recognized by management. In a world run by e-commerce and crappy customer service experience, it was a pleasure to work with someone who actually seemed like they liked their job and knew what they were talking about. Thank you!

  I just returned home from Sunglass Hut. I was anxious to write a review as I was totally impressed by my experience. I talked to Kevin on the phone twice and he was extremely helpful, but then I drove to the store 45 minutes away. Kevin went over the top listening carefully to my needs. He is quite knowledgeable and his experience is evident. I walked away a very happy customer. Thank you!!!

  Excellent experience at Sunglass Hut! The sunglasses are beautiful, but what made our visit exceptional was Maria. She was incredibly patient, kind, and knowledgeable, helping us choose between different frames and colors. She paid attention to every detail and made sure we found the perfect pair. Outstanding customer service highly recommend this store, especially if Maria is helping you!
