  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ A great art supply store that more artists should know about. This BLICK location has been open for about a year and a half, but still feels like a bit of a hidden gem. The selection is impressive: a wide range of professional paints and brands, drawing and painting materials, canvases, brushes, papers, tools, and plenty of supplies for handcraft and creative projects. Whether you are a professional artist, student, or simply enjoy making things by hand, it’s an excellent place to explore materials, compare brands, and discover something new for your next project. Definitely worth knowing about for the local art community.

  For a brick & mortar, *artist supply store* they have a very good, highly concentrated supply of core products along with a small offering of some commercially popular kits (I'm looking at you, woobles xD) They definitely serve a necessary niche in the professional sphere versus what many would try to consider their competition. Without any shade, they are not a craft store beyond core supplies of various disciplines, it's more create it yourself, not buy items to assemble if that helps flesh it out. Maybe my withholding a star isn't fully justified, particularly for these times, but I found prices a bit high and some of the condensed selection not optimal, but I'm spelling it all out (artists are fickle, afterall!). Some things are just better to buy in person and are worth the premium to know what you're selecting. The location is optimal, reasonable amount of parking- it's shared with Aldi & what appeared to be a vacant 3rd attached space. Handicapped access: Seemingly more than the requisite amount of handicapped parking, that's actually at the front door. It seems as they have given thought to most displays concerning anyone using a mobility device. Staff were pleasant and ready to assist if needed.

  It was very good my daughter is a artist who bought a airbrush online after a couple of weeks it broke while cleaning, they suggested she bring it in and we did . They replaced it within a few minutes. She has shopped at Blick for years. Thank You Blick Staff

  I am extremely disappointed by the treatment I received at Blick Art Supply in Fort Lauderdale, and I feel compelled to share an experience that I found discriminatory and deeply offensive. Today, visited the store to purchase paint, brush cleaners, and several brushes for my artwork. One sales associate was very helpful and spent time assisting me in selecting different brushes and explaining the available discounts if I purchased multiple items. Everything seemed perfectly fine during my shopping experience. What happened at checkout, however, was completely unacceptable. A different cashier took the items I had selected and suddenly asked me, “Where did you put all the brushes?” I replied that I put them back at its containers. I asked why? Cashier was silent. I was immediately shocked by the question. The only way I could interpret this was that I was being suspected of concealing merchandise or attempting to steal items that I had not even selected for purchase. Then I told the cashier, would you like to check my bag and my pockets if I took those items? Still no response. I found this humiliating, insulting, and discriminatory. I was singled out and treated with suspicion for absolutely no reason. I have shopped at many art supply stores, including Jerry’s Artarama( for years) and other retailers, and I have never been questioned in a manner that implied I was dishonest or stealing. No customer should be made to feel profiled, falsely suspected, or quietly accused while standing at the register ready to pay. This experience left me feeling degraded and unfairly judged. Blick Art Supply should seriously evaluate how employees interact with customers, because what happened to me was not customer service — it was an unwarranted act of profiling and an experience that felt discriminatory judged.
