  I am incredibly disappointed by the rude and disrespectful behavior I experienced from Maxine and an older Hispanic associate (whose name Maxine refused to give me, stating, 'We don’t like to share associates' names'). Right in front of my face, they began talking about me to another employee because JCPenney decided to change their return system 15 days after my purchase something that has absolutely nothing to do with the customer or the standing return policy. Management seriously needs to educate their employees on basic professionalism and remind them not to gossip about customers on the sales floor. It is because of people like these two ladies that stores get bad reviews. To top it off, Maxine dismissively told me that making a review made my 'conscience feel better,' I should just do it. It is a shame that adults behave this poorly. Unacceptable customer service."

  La tienda está organizada, pero no hay carros de compra y las cestas que hay son tan pequeñas que se llenan con dos toallas y son en extremo incómodas de llevar; el área de los zapatos de mujer estaba desorganizado y con expositores y baldas vacíos, lo que hace parecer a la tienda en caos y decadecia; el área de los niños es grande, pero está poco surtida; ningún empleado (excepto la señora del Beaty) saludó u ofreció su ayuda.

  -I bought items online and paid. I received a notification days later that one of the items was delivered. I checked at my door and the mailbox and did not receive it. I called the customer care, and they referred me to UPS. When I reached out to UPS they told me the apartment no. was missing, and I should contact the shipper who is JCPenney to add the apartment no. on the next package expected since they are not allowed to make any changes and I cannot also make the changes online on their website. My first package is lost and none of the parties wants to be involved. Their interaction with customers is purely transactional and they have no business retaining customers. I do not see what it would cost adding an apartment no. to an address with many apartments, once you have verified a customer information with them. A package is missing an apartment number and instead of reverting it back to sender, it is placed in anonymous apartment and checked as delivered. -on the website, why can't you make sure you have all the information of the address before confirming the order. The Apartment no. is appearing on the second line of inserting the address which then does not transfer the information to the shippers system. -Remember people buy services not products. A product can be expensive but you will have repeat customers if the quality of service is good. Try to invest more on services and do not be too pre-occupied with sales.
