My mom purchased a dress from this location, but the security tag was accidentally left on. She asked me to return to the store to have it removed. When I arrived, I waited in line while a few cashiers were assisting other customers. A staff member then approached me and asked if I needed help. I explained the situation, expecting a quick and simple fix. Instead, she immediately told me that the store does not sell that dress and suggested it must have been ordered online. That response was confusing, especially since receiving an item with a security tag through an online order is highly unlikely. Rather than trying to help resolve the issue, the conversation felt dismissive, as if everything I was saying was being questioned. I even had to call my mom to confirm. she clearly stated she purchased the dress in-store, not online. Even after that, the situation remained unnecessarily difficult. What should have been a simple correction turned into a frustrating experience due to a lack of willingness to assist. At the end of the day, the security tag being left on was a store mistake. As a customer, I should not have had to go back and forth just to get it fixed. I hope this can be a reminder of how important it is to approach customers with a problem-solving mindset. A little understanding and effort would have made a big difference.
