I had a really disappointing experience at Surf Style. The staff was rude and acted like helping customers was an inconvenience. The store was overcrowded, unorganized, and several items didn’t even have prices on them. When I asked a simple question, I got an attitude instead of assistance. Definitely not the kind of customer service you expect while on vacation. I won’t be coming back.

On their website, it states they have free 10 minute sessions for surfing. The manager, Santana, said they don't honor that and she was very rude. Stay away from this place, horrible customer service!

Quite a strange experience. I came in to buy a fishing pole but virtually none of them had a price marked on them and there was no one around to ask. I looked at lures and braided line but again virtually nothing had a price marked on it. I also needed a Bubble Box. When I found one it was marked at $50 which is about double what it costs in other stores. I took it to a checkout and asked if they could check the price. He told me $23 and I told them that it was hanging up with lots of others marked at $50. He didn’t seem interested so I bought it and left. If the fishing poles, lures and line had been priced I might have bought a whole lot. It was only because I bothered to get the Bubble Box price checked that I went ahead and bought it. I doubt anyone else will buy one given it is marked at the wrong price. One of the most basic tasks of a store like this is to make sure customers can choose items quickly and easily. In the fishing department at least this is not being done. Incidentally, the area around the check out was packed with boxes. I literally had to walk around a display stand to get from the assistant to the credit card reader. As I said, all a little strange - really basic retail stuff not being done.

Just HAD to stop into Surf Style while we were down in the Keys and had a great experience. Place is clean, well organized, and packed with just about anything you could need—shirts, souvenirs, beach gear…basically if you forgot it at home, they’ve got it.
Staff was friendly and helpful without being up in your business every two seconds, which is a win in my book. Prices are about what you’d expect for a tourist spot, but nothing crazy.
All in all, solid stop if you’re in Marathon. Way bettah than wandering around wonderin’ where the hell to find a decent t-shirt or beach stuff.

I don't like to be that person & maybe alot of other people don't care but most of the younger kids they have working here are horrible with customers, they don't say hi or how you doing, no type of acknowledgement .. your welcome when you say thank you or even have a nice day. Its very dismissive and it's actually rude.
I said "how are you" and got completely ignored. The young folks should be taught it's mandtory and just common courtesy!
Love the store but some of the employees suck.. js
