  The temperature in this store is ridiculously hot! Customers can hardly shop, we are sweating!! I can’t imagine working here. There are fans set up all over the store. It appears the AC is NOT working. You are opening yourself up to lawsuits from customers who collapse in this heat. You need to get this fixed immediately. Your employees were extremely helpful despite the situation.

  The Belk at Lakeside Village in Lakeland remains a reliable, convenient stop for department store shopping, carrying a good variety of apparel, shoes, home goods, and cosmetics. However, basic store maintenance—specifically in the restrooms—could definitely use improvement. Selection & Brands: The store is well-stocked with popular name brands, casual wear, formal attire, and footwear. Sales and clearance racks often yield great value if you take time to browse. Layout & Atmosphere: The sales floor is generally open, organized, and easy to navigate. Parking at Lakeside Village is ample, making getting in and out straightforward. Staffing & Service: Checkout lines can back up during sales or peak hours when registers aren't fully staffed, but sales associates are typically pleasant and helpful when available. Facilities & Maintenance: The main area in need of improvement is the customer restrooms. They are frequently overdue for servicing, tidying, and a thorough deep cleaning, which detracts from an otherwise decent retail environment. Takeaway: A great option for clothing and household shopping in Lakeland, though store management would do well to give the restrooms more regular care and attention throughout the day.

  Prices are way too high, then they Mark everything down 70% which brings it down to about a normal price maybe even a little more. Pair of shorts at beld 70.00 the exact same shorts at Walmart or 11.00

  Great sales, but come on Belks it's Florida we need air conditioning! Too damn hot in the stores!

  The service was great and the store was organized and clean. But, tne AC is currently out in the store. That's terrible working conditions for employees especially in the FL summer. Also, there was seemily only one employee working in the shoe dept on a Saturday afternoon. I waited for quite some time to get my size and ended up just leaving as she had several customers ahead of me.
