Can’t make a double sided light saber and overpriced. Complete money grab. Like you either eat or get a lightsaber and starve. But if you rich or don’t mind spending that much money, I would say it’s a cool experience.

The experience is terribly rushed. The people helping you speed-run through the process. The main actor guy is great but he doesn’t talk to everyone. My boys only got helped by other cast members who really rush you through it. For the amount of money you spend I expected a more one-on-one experience. It is not. It is with a group of about 15 people. It’s impersonal. They even try to get you to spend more money on accessories before you even do the thing. Disney should be ashamed of themselves. My one kid’s lightsaber already has a lighting issue (we just got it built today) - he picked purple but there’s a blue spot. Also, you can only pick four colours (red, blue, green, purple). No yellow for Ahsoka, no orange. It’s super weirdly cash grabby for such a giant corporation. Do not recommend.

What a neat and unique experience. We had a great time and the actors were top notch. Immersion made this special

Fun experience but only after a few months (less then a year) the light sabers i bought already have issues not only with looks which is generally unavoidable but also with the internals working even if i don't duel with them

As a lifelong Star Wars fan, Savi's Workshop was one of the experiences I was most looking forward to. Unfortunately, it ended up being one of the biggest disappointments of our Walt Disney World vacation. I had prepaid for my lightsaber reservation and arrived about 10 minutes early. The problem was that it wasn't clear where to check in. I approached a Cast Member with a tablet, who directed me to the registration line. After waiting there for about 10 minutes, I was told I wasn't in their system and was sent back to the Cast Member with the tablet. She then realized I was actually trying to check in and sent me to a different Cast Member in another line. By that point, any sense of immersion had already been lost. After choosing my build, I was sent back outside to wait another 10 minutes in the 98-degree Florida heat. I didn't enter the experience until roughly 25 minutes after my scheduled reservation. Inside, things felt chaotic and rushed. The main Cast Member leading the ceremony did his best and gave a great performance, but even he seemed frustrated by how everything was flowing. I tried to focus on him because he was clearly putting his heart into it. I brought my 7-year-old daughter with me to share the experience. During the crystal selection, we're instructed to close our eyes and choose based on the Force. Somehow I ended up with a blue crystal. When I asked my daughter how that happened, she simply said, "That's the one they gave you." I had wanted a green crystal, but the ceremony moved so quickly there wasn't an opportunity to correct it before everyone was rushed to the next step. The ending felt just as hurried. Bags were handed out, we were quickly ushered outside, and we walked straight into a Florida monsoon. We were soaked before I even realized it was raining. Looking back, I was paying for the experience more than the lightsaber itself, and unfortunately the experience didn't live up to the price. Between the confusing check-in, the delays, the rushed ceremony, and having to purchase the green kyber crystal separately for another $30 after already spending hundreds of dollars, I left feeling disappointed. I still love the lightsaber itself, but if I had known the experience would unfold this way, I probably would have purchased a custom lightsaber elsewhere for about the same money. For me, Savi's Workshop simply wasn't worth the premium price.
