  I purchased a pair of pants for my grandmother for her birthday but unfortunately she had a heart attack and of course, her health came first. She was hospitalized for 6 weeks and when she finally was discharged, it was a couple weeks of physical therapy before was able to try them on. When she did, they were too large and so I took them back to the store to exchange them. I was treated disrespectfully by two young girls, Victoria, and someone else whose name I didn’t catch. Victoria agreed to do the exchange however I asked if we could just get a gift card since they didn’t have the same pants in store and I wanted my grandmother to be able to choose her own replacement. She called customer service and informed me that I was not able to get a gift card but could exchange. I asked if I could come back later in the week since I didn’t know what she would want and I had to go to work. I came back to the store, picked out my replacement pieces and went to the register to do the exchange and was denied. Victoria refused the exchange while the other girl scoffed in my face. When I asked if they could call customer service I was told no, they gave me the phone number and I called on my own. As I walked out I watched as they called customer service on their own. We are talking about a pair of brand new, with tags, with receipt, exchange that is passed the return policy due to a medical emergency and you can’t make an exception? Disgusting. I even offered to show them the hospitalization paperwork! I will be taking this to social media since nobody at store level is interested in helping me. My husband was a big Express shopper due to his small size however after this, we will NEVER shop at Express again.

  I went into express last minute to hopefully find a suit for a wedding and Kelli was such a big help the whole time, she had great recommendations and helped me find exactly what I need. 10/10 customer service. I would definitely go back there again.

  Kaitlin J provided amazing customer service and was very helpful, friendly, personable, and knowledgeable. Employees like Kaitlin make shopping much more enjoyable and easy! She is a valuable asset to the Express team!
