  My elderly mother bought size 13 sandals. They were size 10, I guess they put the wrong hanger size on them. She went to exchange them for the correct size the next day and the associate said they would not exchange them because (according to the associate) she had stolen them. Why would anyone go swap shoes for the correct size if they stole them? Furthermore, she had the receipt. The purchase happened two days before the return, they could have checked their video. Additionally, an easy check of my mother's account would have shown the associate she buys about 10-15 pairs of shoes a year there and rarely returns or exchanges anything. In summary, they treat customers like crap and accuse old ladies of being thieves.

  Most of time i cant find womens tennis shoes i end up having to wear mens..dsw has a great selection of womens tennis shoes..very friendly staff..i will return again and again

  I had an extremely disappointing experience at DSW on Wednesday night. I was supposed to receive a refund issued back onto a DSW gift card, but that never happened. When I asked for help, the sales associate I dealt with was rude, dismissive, and completely unprofessional. She told me there was “nothing she could do” and insisted that I had to handle everything myself, despite this being an in-store issue. What made the situation worse was that she ignored me while I was speaking and began talking to someone else instead. Customer service should never feel this disrespectful. I was shocked that someone I’m working in customer service would treat a customer this way. This experience alone makes me hesitant to shop at this location again.
