- FSFernanda ScacciaferroAug 29, 20261.0had a very disappointing experience at Nordstrom in Fort Lauderdale. After spending nearly two hours trying on clothes, I selected more than 20 items totaling almost $500. In the fitting room, an employee required me to count every item before entering and told me to leave my cart outside. Meanwhile, I observed other customers entering with their carts and without being asked to count their items. This made me feel singled out and watched. At checkout, the cashier first asked me to remove everything from the cart and then asked about my nationality—a question that felt inappropriate and completely unrelated to my purchase. One blouse was marked with an $11 price sticker, but I was told the price was incorrect. After making me wait approximately 10 minutes while a manager searched for a similar blouse, they insisted on charging me $35 instead. I explained that honoring the clearly displayed $11 price would have been a fair and courteous resolution, especially considering the amount of merchandise I intended to purchase.. The supervisor jpeg saying i should not compare apples to oranges ….. that was again inapropriate comments because i was not comparing anything , i was arte print to purchase.
