  What is happening to this store? Is it turning into a closeout store? The store has turned into mess- massive amounts of stuff- especially clothing- everywhere. It's not neat, organized or easy to find things like it traditionally was. Gone are the neatly arranged sections & displays. They closed the dressing rooms to keep people from trying on stuff- per the employee- because they don't have time to put it all back on the racks. The last couple of visits, the staff was cranky and unfriendly. The "home area" is a hodge podge of randomness- with items stacked up by the former customer service/gift wrap desks- shelves so tall you cannot even reach items. There is so much inventory in the home/outdoor decor section you cannot even navigate a small cart. Kids section is almost non existent. The men's area was the only section that had some semblance of tidiness and easy to find things. Brick and mortar stores are struggling but alienating loyal customers by neglecing Fernandina's only "department store" won't keep those customers coming back. Corporate and store managment needs to do something.

  Back into town, this store was in shambles - so disheveled - it’s a mess, Bealls, hire some help.
