  I just left the Movado store at the Ellenton Outlet after an extremely unprofessional experience with their sales representative, Diane. My intention was to purchase two watches, one for my mother and one for my sister for Mother’s Day, and I came into the store fully prepared to buy both. When I entered the store, I immediately noticed another woman leaning against the wall looking restless, as though she had already been waiting quite some time for assistance. Unfortunately, I quickly realized why. I also waited an unreasonable amount of time without a single employee acknowledging my presence, despite Diane standing nearby organizing watches in the display case the entire time. After continuing to be ignored, I walked over and politely asked the representative for her name. She rudely responded, “Why?” I replied, “So I can properly address you?” She then stated her name was Diane, and I informed her that I had been waiting quite a while for assistance. Diane responded by saying she thought we were getting a watch sized and apologized, but she still appeared short and dismissive while showing me the two watches I was interested in. At that point, I informed Diane that I would not be purchasing from her because she appeared to be having a bad day, and I preferred to spend my money where the customer experience felt welcoming and pleasant. I understand that working in customer service is not easy. However, customers absolutely have a choice regarding where they spend their money. My household has spent a significant amount of money with Movado over the years, but this was my second experience at the Ellenton Outlet location, and unfortunately both experiences were very similar. Because of this, I will not be shopping at this location again. I strongly encourage the regional manager to revisit customer service training with Diane, especially in an economy where discretionary income is limited for many people and businesses should value customers who choose to spend their hard-earned money with them.

  This store has treated me as ragdoll and bulling by the store mgr. key carrier advised me to come to do exchange on march 27 which Friday and call the store to advised them have to work late at approx 833pm I get call from key carrier at store to call the district mgr without giving me name. I call the next day ask for store mgr name they transferred me to her and she refused to give her name only to keep telling the I need call district mgr with name only phone. I don’t recommend anyone to buy anything at this store. Store mgr is rude she forget there are camera in store. Never did I ever been rude with anyone in store or told lies…yes I request to exchange watch which they print the receipt and told to bring in. After brought in the more say no exchange but then giving the corporate phone to call and there email confirmation by key carrier of store to come for exchange..please anyone that read please don’t buy at that location.they are not nice people including the store mgr. I am not rag doll I am person.

  I went with my family to shop for watches at Movado store at Ellenton Outlet Mall today. We have usually shopped at your store every year on Black Fridays. We love Movado watches, so we purchased quite a few watches whenever we were there. However, something changed this year, and it affected our experiences while shopping at your store. First, I would like to compliment the staff who assisted me and my family; her name was Dianna K. (I believe there was another staff who name Dianna in the store). She was patient with us when we chose the watches to try on and did a very good job helping us understand the sale. Because of her positive attitude and excellent customer services, we ended up purchase about 10 watches with her. Next, I would like to address the issue that we encountered. Opposite to Dianna K.’s dedicating assistance, the manager of the store was making us feel unwelcome while shopping. We asked if we could get the inventory from the back instead of the displayed ones, since we were buying the watches as gifts for our loved ones and needed them to be in very good conditions. However, the manager did not want the girl to get us the ones at the back and demanded us to get the ones displayed, which I’m not sure how many customers have try them on… Another issue would be the manager telling Dianna K. not to spend a good amount of time on a customer. Mind you, there were two of us, and we bought in total 10 watches (over a thousand spent). I felt like we deserved better customer services from the manager if we spent that much. Overall, it just made us felt uncomfortable while shopping at your store. I understand that it could be stressful for the staff who work during busy times like this, but the ones who went out of their ways to fulfill the customers’ needs are the ones that should get a raise or recognized by the company, just my opinion. Thanks Dianna K. for your help! Keep up your good work!
