  So I just had a less-than-professional experience with Amber at the Desin, FL Oakley vault. I placed an online order that said same-day delivery. When I arrived at the store, I saw the same sunglasses I had ordered sitting on the shelf — Flak 2.0 XL with rose gold Prizm polarized lenses. Beautiful set. I actually already own another pair and love them. I’m on vacation, so I thought, “Great, this will be easy.” When I got to the counter, Amber was helping another employee with the only other customer in the store. She kind of asked sideways if she could help me with anything. I said, “Yes, I placed an online order about 30 minutes ago.” She told me I would have to wait two hours and come back, even though the exact sunglasses were sitting right there on the shelf. “Two hours. Sorry.” I explained that I’m on vacation and already had plans that evening, so I wouldn’t be able to come back. No big deal — I asked if she could help me cancel the online order so I could just buy the pair sitting on the shelf instead. Nope. “You’ll have to contact corporate.” Then Amber walked off. But I could literally see the sunglasses on the shelf. The whole interaction felt very “too bad, so sad” and dismissive. What an experience. I get that I placed the order 30 minutes before. The email did not say there would be a wait time.. just promised same day pickup. And even so why can’t Amber help cancel the online order and purchase in the store when I cannot come back? Being dismissive is unprofessional. I truly love Oakley and their styling, but this experience definitely gives me pause. Unfortunately Oakley missed out on a sale they will probably not even notice. Hopefully this was an isolated incident with Amber.

  I recommend this place 100%! I really liked my sunglasses, and the clothing is excellent. Thank you for the service we received, and thank you for the kindness shown by the young woman who assisted us.
