  I called ahead to see if they were currently buying clothes. The girl on the phone told me yes and encouraged me to bring in what I had. I go to the store less than an hour later and the same girl proceeded to tell me that the buy counter was closed. Completely wasted my time and gas to travel here. Over the phone she said there would be a three hour wait time and I just needed to be back before 9pm which I agreed to. I got here and she said it was a two hour wait but they’d be closed by then. It’s only 5pm. Minutes later she’s leaving to go home. Guess she just wanted to end her shift as quickly as possible. Her name is Riley. I will not be returning as a buyer or seller.

  I brought in a bin full of name brand items and items from target, over half with tags (john Galt, aerie, roller rabbit, gymshark, etc.) and they offered me $38 for 14 items taking maybe 1 of the items with tags... I brought in items and shoes they specifically had posted that they were looking for and they took none of it. Also make sure you check their social media because they regularly dont take buys or limit their buys to very particular hours during operation. place is honestly a mess with stuff everywhere and sub par items for sale. I always like to give the benefit of the doubt but I should have known better when the last time I took a buy there, they only bought half of two MATCHING sets i brought in 😂

  The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. I don’t and never will sell my things there only because I’m big on donating my things and I usually almost always buy high end brands. With that being said, I find a lot of the brands I love super cheap so THAT is why I shop there. As far as I’m concerned, it is by far my favorite clothing store in Daytona. I recommend it highly.

  I gave them a 1 star because I couldn't give them a 0 star. The customer service sucks. I brought in name brands, brand new clothes, also in good condition clothes for just 10 dollars. I brought in Lululemon, American eagle, Under Armor, and nothing was taken. One reason was because "they had holes in them" the clothing is made with holes in them. Nothing I brought in was in bad condition it was all fairly new or worn maybe once. Also because they had "high inventory," if you have high inventory then what's the point in offering a selling option. Not worth your time or effort. Doesn't even look like the took the time or effort to see what I had to offer. Definitely will not be bringing anything back to plato's closet it's not worth it.
