  I had just purchased a sneaker there Thursday 5/14 and on Friday when I was getting ready to put on the sneakers the loop for the lace popped and I didn’t even get to wear the sneakers. I brought it back on Saturday to return it and felt a bit disappointed because I was only refunded for the sneakers and it for the new water resistant feature they offer because I was never informed when purchasing the sneakers there would be no refund on it if anything happened but a big thank you to Amoni, hope I spelled her name correctly because I was about to go shop somewhere else for another sneakers but Amoni’s great customer service skills made stayed there, she assisted me in finding another sneakers glad she did because I was in the men section and didn’t realize but she came over brought me to the women section helped me find another sneakers and I got some compression socks as well her great personality and customer service skills changed my disappointment into smiles leaving the store. Thank you Amoni for your great service.

  I ordered a pair of sandles online but he needed a bigger size. They took them back easy peazy.

  What happened? I went yesterday with a toddler and asked an employee if she could help with sizing the toddlers shoe size. She pointed toward a mat and helped me. I didn’t get the normal discount for being a regular customer and then was told they were out of bags. For what they charge for shoes it was embarrassing.

  Went to buy a sneaker for my toddler. The only shoe size left that I needed was the display shoe. It had a brown tint on the inside ankle part and the bottom clearly had a little wear. Was the shoe totally in horrible shape no but it was a model shoe that was clearly tried on and definitely looks like it was. Yes! So I mentioned to the cashier if they offered a discount because that was the only shoe left in that size. she told me she would have to ask the manager. When she went to the manager, I heard them giggle after she asked her about my question . Then they came over and the manger goes. “Let me look at these in the light” in an undertone then she takes out Clorox wipes and goes. “The only thing I can do is wipe these down” and I looked at her shocked and I said with a bleach wipes? And asked did they not have a policy when selling the last shoe that is a model? she goes no there’s nothing wrong with these shoes with a nonchalant attitude. The closet DSW is 30 minutes away and an inconvenient drive for me and the stores were closing in 30 minutes but I didn’t argue because I’m not going to spend my money where I don’t feel valued as a customer, but I did find the whole experience, rude and not customer centric. She definitely does not owe me a discount, but there is a way to communicate with a customer if you do not agree with their perspective and honestly could have been a reasonable gesture given the circumstances when trying to keep customer loyalty. Total turn off from returning for future purchases. This happened April 18th at 7:30 pm and definitely need some training on how to communicate with customers.
