  Worst customer service ever experienced ordered shoes online took them in the store to return them. All I wanted to do was exchange them for a bigger size without being asked would I like that to go back on my card or would I like to just exchange them and use the credit in the store? I wasn’t asked anything but as soon as I put my shoes on the counter, I explained to the lady, how was this paid because I can’t have it go back to a certain card being that bank account closed, but she had already done the return in the matter of one minute without asking me any questions on where I wanted that return to go so now I just lost out on my shoes on the money for my shoes When all I wanted to do was exchange the shoes for another size DSW you have lost my membership and my Shopping poor management!!!!!

  DSW really needs to work on customer service and having employees be more attentive and helpful to customers. My son recently transitioned from children’s/youth shoes into men’s sizes, so I could have really used some assistance figuring out the right size and fit for him. During our visit, not one employee approached us to ask if we needed help. The only exception was one gentleman who was somewhat helpful and told me about the foot-measuring mat at the front of the store. I appreciated that he at least took the time to point us in the right direction, because no one else mentioned it. When you’re paying a significant amount of money for shoes, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect a little customer service. I wasn’t expecting someone to follow us around the store, but it would have been nice for an employee to simply ask if we needed assistance—especially while I was clearly trying to find the right size and shoe for my son. DSW has a great selection, but the customer service at this location definitely needs improvement
