  I walked in and immediately greeted. Always a good sign. The associates were approachable. I asked the associates for assistance in locating the same shoe I was wearing as a replacement. The associate Iyan made me feel like a person instead of just a customer to spend money. I explained the situation of what shoe I was looking for. Iyan listened and knew which shoe I needed. After we discussed size they brought out the box. One of the shoes was offered to me to try on to ensure the size was correct because I wasn’t certain on which one I needed. The size tag in my current pair had worn off. I put on the shoe and it fit like a glove. Iyan offered me the other shoe to put on and wear the new pair out of the store. Which I was delighted to do because my current pair were worn out. Iyan shared that I could take advantage of the current promotion as a perfect addition to my new shoes. I happily picked out a brand new pair of socks. I took my socks and Iyan had already placed my shoe box now filled with my old shoes inside at the counter. David the cashier asked about the Vans fan club. I am a member as these are the o lot shoes I wear. Once David entered my login he shared that I have a discount available. He asked if I wanted to take advantage of it now which I happily replied with ‘hell yea’. David applied my discount and gave me the new total. I paid and upon thanking both the associates walked out feeling like a brand new person in my new shoes. * I did the survey and it only limited my response to 1200 characters. I did that. This is experience needs to shared in its full scope. Thank you Iyan and David

  Today, February 2nd at 1:08pm, my fiance went into your store to return a sweater we had purchased the day before due to it being the incorrect size. He went into the Clearwater Countryside Mall Van’s location and asked for a refund as they didn’t have the same sweater to exchange. They immediately refunded it to the card we used, which was a prepaid visa that we had tossed the previous day due to it no longer having a balance. About 5 minutes later, my fiance realized this mistake and went back to ask them if they could reverse this error, offer us store credit in exchange, or just to give us the sweater back. They refused to do any of those, and instead told us they couldn’t do anything and the money was already sent. Instead of contacting someone higher up who may know the answer, they told him to call customer service himself to get it resolved. So now we’re out the money, the sweater, and being told to call a call center to resolve our problems even though he was still in the store and this whole process happened within 5 minutes. A lady claimed to be a manager when she answered, only for me to find out she was actually just a floor supervisor, who transferred me to a higher up “assistant manager” who also told us he wasn’t going to do anything about it or be helpful in any way. This is absolutely OUTRAGEOUS service, and the owner of this store should be ashamed at how his employees acted. !!!!!!!!A CUSTOMER SERVICE REP WAS ABLE TO REVERSE THE REFUND AND PUT IT ONTO A DIFFERENT CARD ALMOST IMMEDIATELY!!!!!! A person who doesn’t even WORK for your store had to step in and help due to your employees not being willing to do more than the bare minimum. They basically told us to figure it out ourselves while practically robbing us. 0/10 do not recommend this store at all, and I would be embarrassed if these people worked for me. EDIT: the manager Tracy has reached out to resolve this issue. I’ve changed my review to 4 stars since she was very kind and professional and I really appreciated the follow up from someone who cared enough to call!

  This location always makes buying anything so uncomfortable. The associates are always so standoffish, never greet. Having to ask for somebody to grab shoes from the back is always a chore. I went to pick out some shoes the other day and the told the size I needed and he just stared at me like I was speaking a different language. He finally went to get the shoes and just tossed them on the bench and walked away. So odd.

  Went in to find my size , mentions it to cashier and she just kind of stood there and stared at me and my boyfriend , it’s was really uncomfortable and awkward so we just left .
