  Manager on duty was not sure if she could return an item that was bought yesterday without a tag. I explained I had lost my receipt trying on clothes at the other store and had just signed up yesterday and showed her my transaction. She explained she was new manager, which I’ve been there. I’ve been a store manager for over 8yrs I know sometimes things happen, that being a manger there are times that you are able to make an exception by if necessary. It was a pair of jeans and I explained to the manager the night before i was told if they didn’t fit I could return them. Which I stated to her. She kept repeating she was new, she was new, and didn’t want to get in trouble. She was more concerned about losing her position than finding another way to accommodate, like looking up the transaction on my card or following up with that manager that was on duty the previous night. Being a new manager she could have phoned to ask questions to her higher up. I understand you don’t want to lose a position but also it doesn’t hurt inventory or any quota for one pair of non worn jeans, that you can sell to someone that actually wants them.

  Dark haired girl with glasses was very rude and gave me such a hard time about security tags that they left on.
