Major Misnomer!!! Nothing here is close to a dollar. Shouldn’t be allowed to use this name anymore. Girl who was working the register was hustling and going a great job while 3 other employees stood around gabbing. The entire time we were there the line was 10 long.

Great place to grab all sorts of goods at a decent price, there definitely worth a stop if you're looking for some groceries or other items as they have a broad range of products that they carry.

I went in this store today to take advantage of the sales. I attempted to buy four placemats which were marked at $1.25 each which were placed on the shelf for sale. So when they rang up my cart which was $250 she set my placemats to the side and I asked her why she did that. She said they were Penny items and that she cannot sell them to me. So the manager comes out and I explain to her that I wanted to buy them and the manager told me that if I wanted them that I could go take them out of the garbage because they throw all their penny items in the trash. But yet she tells me they don't know what their penny items are until it gets rang up at the cash register. So I'm expecting to buy four placemats at $1.25 a piece and yet they set them aside and tell me that they cannot sell them to me. So I let her ring up the entire cart which came to $250 then I walked out of the store. That is absolutely ridiculous and I will never shop in that store again. For one I did some research. And that manager is allowed to sell Penny items and she is allowed to sell them for no less than $0.25 per item. She has that discrepancy. But for some reason I guess she just decided today that she wanted to lose a customer and a $250 sale over $5 worth of items she was going to throw in the trash. So you can read into this review whatever you want to read into it. Personally I will no longer shop in that store. It is a new store in town at that. And this manager has a discrepancy that she's able to use in her position which I'm pretty sure that all the workers there actually take these items home with them. And that's what's really going on at that store. The penny items that are supposed to go to the trash can be sold for $.25 at the managers discretions to sell them to you if she wants to. BUT they would rather throw them in the trash. That's what they say. But I guarantee you that, if you look in their trash you will NEVER find any of those items in there ever. I'm pretty sure that the workers take them home and that's why they're all in agreeance and won't say anything. And if family Dollars store manage has a problem with this review then they can talk to my attorney. PLEASE DO BECAUSE HE WILL BE TALKING TO YOU THROUGH A DEPOSITION ANYWAYS. IT'S ONE THING TO SCREW YOUR CUSTOMERS AROUND BUT WHEN YOU GET YOUR EMPLOYEES INVOLVED IN YOUR BACKHANDED SHADY THINGS, THAT OPENS THE DOOR UP TO ALL KINDS OF OTHER ISSUES. AND YOU NOW HAVE ISSUES. And I don't care how much money I have to spend to sue that store, it's all about principles with me. So buckle up buttercup. 75% of this city didn't want you here to start with and now I can understand WHY! And lastly if you go look at all these other reviews not a single one of them are left by local people. These are left from peopl out of state here to visit as a tourist and have no idea that that store is brand new and that's the reason why it looks clean as it does now. Give it two years and it won't look the same I promise you that. But don't be fooled by all these positive reviews from all these so-called out of town people.

This location is THE cleanest dollar store EVER on this side of the Coast. I love walking into this store and finding everything in place and see clear across the aisles without anything in the way. Kudos to store management and staff who make sure this store is well maintained.
