- DVDiana VeenstraMay 6, 20261.0Was visiting this location from Canada. At the cash and realized my skirt had 2 tags on it. Asked the cashier which price I’m paying. She got a manager. The manager came up grabbed the skirt off the counter and said this skirt will not be sold today. I was like huh? Then proceeded to go on about there will be an investigation about who left it on the floor with two tags and why and then it’s reprocessed. I’m like it’s a 2.00 difference. I’ll pay it doesn’t matter to me. She’s like no it’s not being sold today. Just the tone and the way I was spoken to was super rude and as far as I know clothes that aren’t sold there go to a landfill so wouldn’t it be smarter to let me buy the skirt then take it back to try investigate who left a tag on. What a horrible experience. Then I get back to my friends house and realize they charged me for the skirt anyways!!

Gently used clothing and household goods may be dropped off at any of our store and/or attended donation centers. We ask that large furniture be dropped off at one of our retail locations. Simply drive through any of our attendent donation center drive-thrus and a team member will assist you with your items.

Do you have a furniture pickup service?
Goodwill Manasota does not offer a furniture or single item pickup service. We do have a White Glove Service, which is a FREE packing service for an entire home. If you are downsizing, buying/selling a home, or find yourself in another transitional stage of life, Goodwill can help lessen your burden. We will come to your home or business, pack up your entire household of resellable items that you would like to donate, and transport them to our Goodwill donation centers and retail outlets. There is never a charge for the White Glove Service and we provide an itemized receipt for tax purposes.
Do you have Color of the Week sales?
Goodwill Manasota does offer Color of the Week tag sales. Get 50% off the selected color tag at participating locations. Not valid at our Bookstores or Bargain Barns. Look for signage in our stores or ask an associate for more details, or like us on Facebook to get weekly reminders. Colors change weekly, so get the great deals while they last!
