- AAAmyAug 22, 20262.0Very unwelcoming atmosphere for customers. Upon walking in the door I heard a customer at the counter who had an item that was missing the price and the cashier told him they can't sell it to him if there's no price. Then I saw a lady who wanted to test out a lamp and the cashier told her she couldn't test the lamp and that they had already tested it and it worked and she should take his word for it. Then I simply looked over at a cart that was just rolled out and the cashier told me I wasn't allowed to touch anything on the cart until it was on the Shelf. I have been to many Goodwill locations and never experienced this hostile shopping environment. All other Goodwills will price items for you at the counter, allow customers to take items off carts and test lamps. Are they trying to drive away business at this location?

My boyfriend and I just moved to Boca for FAU and we came to this Goodwill In hopes of buying a cheap dining table and a couple of chairs. Little did we know this Goodwill is essentially just a clothing store. There were quite a few kitchen appliances on the shelves (crockpots, toasters, pots and pans), as well as some lamps. But absolutely no furniture whatsoever. So, definitely walked out feeling disappointed.

Simply drive through any of our attendent donation center drive-thrus and a team member will assist you with your items.

Do you have a furniture pickup service?
Goodwill Manasota does not offer a furniture or single item pickup service. We do have a White Glove Service, which is a FREE packing service for an entire home. If you are downsizing, buying/selling a home, or find yourself in another transitional stage of life, Goodwill can help lessen your burden. We will come to your home or business, pack up your entire household of resellable items that you would like to donate, and transport them to our Goodwill donation centers and retail outlets. There is never a charge for the White Glove Service and we provide an itemized receipt for tax purposes.
Do you have Color of the Week sales?
Goodwill Manasota does offer Color of the Week tag sales. Get 50% off the selected color tag at participating locations. Not valid at our Bookstores or Bargain Barns. Look for signage in our stores or ask an associate for more details, or like us on Facebook to get weekly reminders. Colors change weekly, so get the great deals while they last!
