  I come to this American Eagle all the time, as I always shop here at Town Center. I had purchased the buy 1 get 1 free shorts that Aerie was doing and I was charged $63. I thought this was a mistake because online it says $30 for one pair of the ruffle athletic shorts. I went into American Eagle and was waiting in line and this mid length brown hair Caucasian woman who seemed to be the manager said to just go to Aerie because the customer in front of me was taking a while, I did not want to go to Aerie as I had just been there; so I looked around the store for a bit and then once I saw that the previous customer left I got back in line. The same lady who I assume is the manager looked very irritated as she called me over to her register. I proceeded to ask her if what I was charged for the pair of shorts was correct because online it says a different price; she proceeds to be very passive aggressive and rude and then she became very disrespectful. She started to explain why the online price and why the in person price was different which honestly doesn’t make much sense to me, because it’s honestly very scamming; then she proceeded to look at me and say, “What’s half of $120?” Talking to me as if I am a child which I very much did NOT appreciate at all. Then once I realized that she had no intent of being respectful I tried to just say ok and go my own way, and she just kept saying, “do you understand?” Over and over in a very rude tone I have never heard before. I hope American Eagle does something about this because this manager is a very bad representation for your company and I will be contacting corporate.

  I came to do an exchange, but left wanting to return it and never buy from AE ever again. the person that was at the cashier was not helpful at all and just told me to call customer service to do the return, she didn’t even bother to attempt to help me, attempt to look up my online order, nothing !! Never had an experience like this anywhere else, please work on your customer service, or even if you really can’t help the customer at least smile instead of being rude.

  Very disappointed with my recent experience at American Eagle in Boca Mall (Town Center at Boca Raton). I tried to exchange a pair of jeans, and I was told by the manager, Lauren, that it could not be processed because it had been more than a week since purchase. I would like to mention that the store manager said “RETURN POLICY ITS 7 DAYS” @ AMERICAN EAGLE-BOCA MALL CENTER. I have never experienced such a strict return/exchange timeframe at other stores, and it was not clearly communicated at the time of purchase. The interaction felt unhelpful and not customer-friendly, and I left without any resolution. It would be helpful if store policies were explained more clearly and applied consistently. Unfortunately, this experience made shopping there very frustrating.

  I stopped into the Aerie just planning to be the “sidekick” for my friend who needed a bathing suit bottom for our girls’ trip. Instead, it turned into one of the best shopping experiences we’ve had in a long time! Monica and her team were absolutely outstanding. From the moment we walked in, Monica made us feel welcomed and excited to shop. She helped us step outside of our comfort zones and encouraged us to try pieces we normally wouldn’t have picked up. It honestly felt like we were having our own little fashion show in the store. By the time we were ready to check out, we loved so many things we were trying to narrow down what to buy. Monica told us about the discount for opening a store credit card, and it ended up saving us hundreds of dollars—so we were able to get everything we wanted. Because of Monica’s amazing customer service and the fun atmosphere her team created, we actually came back the very next day to shop again! She truly went above and beyond to make the experience memorable. It’s rare to find customer service like that these days, and Monica and her team made this one of the most enjoyable shopping trips we’ve had in years. See you again when I return in May!!!
