- LRLesly RichardAug 21, 20261.0I had a horrible experience at Express. I visited with the intention of purchasing an outfit for an upcoming professional meeting. Upon my arrival, I was met with a complete lack of acknowledgment or greeting from staff. While browsing, I discovered a matching set that I was very keen on. However, I noticed a significant defect: the top of the set had a noticeable hole in the sleeve. When I brought this to the attention to a worker.A woman approximately 5'2" with short red hair and a larger build and inquired about a potential 5% discount due to the damage, her response was immediate and unprofessional. She loudly and emphatically refused, stating, 'No, we cannot.' Disturbingly, I also noted a strong odor of alcohol on her breath during this interaction. Despite this, I decided to proceed with purchasing just the pants. During the transaction, the same worker repeatedly and aggressively pushed me to sign up for the rewards program. Despite my clear refusal, reiterated at least fifteen times, she persisted. To my shock and dismay, she then called me a 'loser.' While she may have intended it as a joke, this language is entirely inappropriate and unacceptable when addressing a customer.As a long-standing customer who has consistently chosen Express for my work attire, I have regrettably observed a consistent pattern of poor customer service and a lack of hospitality at your stores. This particular incident, however, was exceptionally upsetting and far exceeds what is acceptable. The presence of an intoxicated employee delivering such a hostile customer experience is simply not permissible. This experience has left me deeply dissatisfied
